I went grillless for a couple weeks as well.  Your KK will quickly fill the void.  Congrats on your new grill.

Well folks we had a few hiccups but got email today from Dennis saying its finally on the truck so good news at last.. have to call trucking company tomorrow and get the info when the delivery is going to be . but hopefully next week cause i need a kk fix lol

Once it's on the truck, it moves rather quickly. The fun is about to begin!!

Well estimated delivery is Aug 15 trucking company is going to call me this week as we get closer to me cant wait going trough grill withdrawal lol

Yes i was   on the egg forum i have owned big green egg for many years. 

I had 2 larges took me awhile but both sold on craigslist  you could do same when your ready if you choose to get rid of it .in the back of my mind secretly i may get the 32(my wife says no though lol) as well its a hell of a grill especially having the half grate

I only had to wait a little over a week and I was still crazy antsy.

Well just got off the phone with trucking company date is set for delivery tuesday mid afternoon or late afternoon on the 16th 

I am more then ready and cant wait

Well finally my kk arrived and boy it was a site to see just awesomeThen the crate came off

The lid moved up effortlessly 

My daughter did some chalk artwork on crate 

 

Moved to final resting place wow looks awesome

My buddy also jumped on my delivery he got the 19 tt awesome color but i am now partial to the cobalt blue 

 

Well that all folks it was a super fun day 

Now for some reason the thermometer never made it on so dennis said he will get it right out so you  will have to wait for first food pics

Congratulations to you and your buddy, those grills look great. 

Maybe you can improvise with a thermometer from another kamado or an electronic thermometer in the mean time till you get your replacement.
