Shuley
Yet another use for koko Kamado when it is blazing hot outside....is it just me or is it actually easier to bake in a komodo than the oven?
MacKenzie
No Shuley, it's not just you. I do that too and I'm sure we are not alone. It's great. Casserole looks very tasty.:)

ckreef
Not only do you keep the heat out of the house you also get a bit of Smokey flavor. Reef's Bistro
tony b
Like I remind folks, not only do I use the grill as my oven, I don't even own a conventional oven.

MacKenzie
I have done a lemon loaf from a mix and it was just fine. I wouldn't put it on too soon after lighting the KK though. I really don't want smoke in my cake.Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk
tony b
The coco charcoal has almost no smoky flavor; so if you have some of that, try it for baking and see what you think?
ckreef
If you get the KK heat soaked really good and use very small vent settings you won't get much smoke flavor. Mrs skreef has cooked a lot of sweets on the KK. Never noticed much smoke flavor.

I have no more left but I don't bake sweets often enough to justify buying it. Nor do I like to have tons of charcoal sitting around. My backyard space is extremely limited.
