Bruce Pearson
Hello everybody my new cutting board just arrived today and looks pretty nice. I invested in Indiego for it. It came with two blades one damacus for special occasions and a stainless steel one for everyday use. I have uploaded a few pictures. hope you like them.
Tyrus
Now that's built to impress. The Damascus looks lethal and I bet it holds an edge almost, foreva. Similar to the old paper cutters I remember in school, just in principle. Good luck Bruce and watch your pinkys.
Bruce Pearson
Thanks i’ll try to keep all my fingers intact. The blades on both knives are really sharp.
MacKenzie
Bruce, that setup is looking pretty snazzy indeed. Keep those fingers curled under.
tony b
Interesting contraption, for sure. I assume that the post also swivels? Otherwise, any lateral stresses might eventually cause that area of the blade to crack. And, don't bash your knuckles under the handle, either. Doesn't look like a lot of clearance there? Seems like the blade should have come almost to the edge of the board, so that the handle was outside the cutting board area. Sorry to sound critical, but you can't take the engineer out of the retiree.
BIGSHEP
Bruce that looks nice. Keep all your fingers out the way. Most importantly your thumb.
ckreef
Definitely an interesting setup. Looks nice.
Bruce Pearson
Tony after reading your post I immediately went to check to see if my fingers were going to hit on the board, good news plenty of room. My countertops were getting kind of cluttered but they sent me a hook so I hung it on the wall looks pretty nice. Even if I just use it for a wall hanger it was cheap enough to make the kitchen look a lot nicer. As for my fingers; I will be Very careful!
tony b
It does make an interesting piece of wall art, and it's functional, as well. Winner!

dstr8
Ok, maybe I've been hanging out too much in the slow lane lately ... although its nice looking Bruce me wonders what its primary function is?
Bruce Pearson
Just another way to slice veggies, bread, cheese, plus I really like cutting boards. I have to admit I haven’t tried it yet but will this weekend.
