  2. I want to take minute to express my appreciation for all of your sweet condolences. It means alot to me. Continue to pray for us. I will share this pic with you all, which my baby girl sent it to me justabout 3 weeks ago before she got on the boat for a cruise with her husband. She will be truly missed❤️

  3. Winter's coming and I wanted no issues with snow, ice and temp changes raining down on my investment. Made with poplar, a hard wood that takes paint well and I just happened to have a couple thousand board feet of it, so it was an easy decision. Cedar shingled roof and it has removable shelves if you wish to use it for storage. It will hold everything the KK came with and all my other grates and things that my other Kamados have and it wheels around quite easily. I had no need for a door but, I suppose you could hang a rod for a curtain or I was thinking of a small detachable shed roof you could hang on with brackets. So there it is, nothing fancy but, an alternative to a cover and another way to protect your KK.

  4. I love spatchcocking. Apparently we are going to do a "Friendsgiving" this year with the people we eat lunch with everyday at work and I volunteered to provide the turkey. I'm wondering if spatchcocking is appropriate for this occasion? yes, I'm the type to obsess over a meal for months. That's why I'm doing a rotisserie rib roast cook this weekend before I volunteer for Christmas dinner lol

  5. Another easy dinner, IPA spiced sausages and airfryer fries, near the end of my spinnach and homemade ketchup. See that Tony. Getting dark early these days. OctoForks sausage cooking. Plated. Road trip tomorrow for a chocolate making demo and to pick up some delicious craft beer.

  6. We did another cook this evening. No problem holding temps at all. It was rock solid holding temps and was very easy to adjust. I’ll try the venting process this weekend. Hopefully all goes well.

  9. Thanks. Actually I covered the weather sides and the front is under the addition and away from the weather. I do like your setup, some sewing,grommets and those quick release fastners are well thought out.

  11. There was a little chicken leftover from last night's dinner so baked up a squash and cleaned out more leftovers from the fridge. One half of the squash is cleaned and added some butter and maple syrup. Plated.

  13. Made some ketchup today using a recipe CK posted for me. It is quite good I just need to tweak it a little for my taste. It is a keeper. Tomatoes for ketchup. The bigger tomatoes all weighed 1 pound or just over. Now i needed dinner for the ketchup. OctoForks for the chicken breasts. Chicken and Fries. Earlier I dehydrated some of the Tiny Tim tomatoes. Cut and ready for the dehydrator.
