  1. Well.....well.....look what just arrived, my new custom stainless lined cabinet. Had to get one after seeing Mr. Pearson's !! This is 48"W x 36"H x 28" D I must say I'm extremely pleased with the quality (wouldn't expect anything less from Dennis!!!) and look; great addition to my KK family . Attached are some unboxing photos for your viewing pleasure.

  2. It has been an interesting morning right from the word go. First thing looked out the kitchen window to see two bird feeders ripped right off the poles hangers included. So I checked the motion detection pixs from over night. Saw a raccoon and I thought I had seen the last of them for a while. Imagine my face when I opened one of the emails to see this- Spent and hour doing repairs and hanging things back up. It was a beautiful sunny morning so time to remove some of the winter shutters in the ODK. It feels some nice to be looking out the windows while cooking on the KK. I did leave the shutters up on the other half just for a little bit long. Time to play, marinated some drum sticks in Frank's Red Hot Sauce the put them on the OctoForks to spin. Cooked. Plated, as always the chicken meat was sooooo juicy and tasty, thanks to the KK.:)

  3. Now if you grind or use a food processor to make your minced meat, it will take you into another stratosphere! Thin pork patty on top of a beef patty works too.. Think Bacon Burger Supreme..

  5. When my POSK7 (pre Komodo Kamado) lost its tiles I coated it in black material, and saved on fuel! On a hot day it wasn't far from low & slow temperatures before I lit the fire.

Glad your loving them Mac these were picked fresh then freeze dried it took a week to get to me then nearly two to get to ckreef and Tony so they are ultra fresh . most peppers are best at the start ,and this goes for the berries but unlike other peppers these seem to hold their taste to the dry end lol I sent ckreef some outback spirit pepper salt .they would have been dry as I love the stuff by the way but ckreef loved the taste he could taste it that's what I love about them Sent from my SM-P600 using Tapatalk

  8. Tasty looking legs, for sure. I'm a fan of Sucklebusters rubs, but I have to say that I've never used that one. Their SPG gets used in my kitchen almost daily! Love Hoochie Mama and Texas Gunpowder. I have the BAMM (Habanero rub) - but be aware, it's serious hot!

  10. 4 hockey pucks with recesses cut out of the center , maybe with a lathe, and lift one leg at a time and slip the pick under it. Or use the suggestion of Google, there are similar one there.

  11. My lovely bride got me this beautiful teak cabinet for my birthday! I got it home yesterday but I had to leave shortly after setting it up. I will post more pictures of it tonight. Now I have a place to store the accessories that I am rabidly accumulating! It is the extra large teak workstation with the granite top. The build quality is exceptional.
