  1. Thats looks really good. I must try cooking the peppers, onions, garlic and spices on my next meatloaf.
  2. Had to give my head a shake it was stuck looking at that plated shot...delicious! !
  3. Congratulations Jaxx you won't be disappointed.
  4. Welcome Mike and congratulations on that fine looking grill. Those are well spoken words but won't find anyone to disagree with you here. To anyone on fence come on over the grass really is greener on this side.
  5. Dickson's BBQ. I'm not sure how much I can get the cyberq for. The regular price with fan is like $500 plus tax. I just looked at that site I gave you and they have the kit without the fan for like $95 USD add $80 for the fan and your done. Heres the link http://www.auberins.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=14_27&products_id=399
  6. If you dont need wifi take a look at this company http://www.auberins.com/ at the smoker controllers. All you need is the PID, power cord and pit probe (their fan wont fit) and then the BBQ Guru Pit Viper fan. I dont think that company makes a fitting to fit the KK'S port you can call and see. I can probably get you the Pit Viper for $80 tax in.
  7. What the heck I'm in for the meat block and four probes. Does this count as weight loss since my wallet is lighter?
  8. This was posted on another forum so I thought I would share. Its a kick start promo. It's a wireless meat thermometer that reads internal and external temp from one probe. It has kind of peaked my interest the meat block with four probes. Any thoughts. .. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1977846026/meater-the-first-truly-wireless-smart-meat-thermom?ref=discovery
  9. I'd love to help you out but our Canadian dollar is worth nothing in US dollars. Just busting them Red, waiting just makes the delivery all that much better.
  10. Red have you not pulled the trigger yet on a KK? What great self control you have.
  11. I will be trying a American wagyu brisket shortly so I've been shopping around for prices. I guess I'm really lucky since a found some for $12-$14 a pound here in Toronto. The Australian wagyu is more expensive then that but I don't know the exact price.
  12. Hogs have you tried to see if the bottom grill fits with the heat deflector and drip pan on the charcoal basket. If by chance it doesn't I would make my own foil drip pan or use a flat pizza pan on the heat deflector if you need all the grill in place for very large cooks.
  13. A fancy plate to with a fancy meal.
  14. No money was spared on your first cook hut it still looks good. Should have did rotisserie hot dogs.
  15. Just following in your footsteps.
  16. This Tony has not tried it and I hope its not that great because I don't own a microwave...LOL.
  17. Your one day closer then yesterday.
  18. Delicious looking plate of food.
  19. I agree KJS I only use the fan as a security blanket for my overnight brisket cooks.
  20. Well done looks delicious.
