  1. It was stuffed pasta shells night here, stuffed with fresh spinach and ricotta. Added a few more things, mushrooms, olives, German Butter Cheese, aged cheddar, tomatoes and some marinara sauce. Once baked added some chives and parmesan cheese.
  2. In the middle of the afternoon I decided to make cheese burgers. Get the meat from the freezer, do the patties, no buns, find a bun recipe, make the buns, grill the burgers. It was busy but worth it.
  3. I had some chicken breast meat left from a previous cook and decided a chicken salad sandwich would fit the bill today.
  4. @ Bruce - Great to hear from you, Bruce. I imagine your daughter is putting those KKs to use when she is there.
  5. @ Bruce, I was just thinking about you today. I thought it has been a while since Bruce has visited and I wondered what you were up to.
  6. This appeared on my breakfast plate this morning.
  7. Sure sure C6Bill, I wasn't born yesterday, I wish I was though.
  8. Wow, what a massive job but what a finish and that is one beautiful KK. Great cooking!
  9. Comfort food was required today. Did pork meatballs and made some spaghetti pasta to go with them.
  10. Sounds delicious, Tony, I suspect there is no hope of me finding one locally either.
  11. The best tiramisu I ever had was one my mother made for a special holiday. I still have very fond memories of it decades later. I'm sure yours was a whopping success too. 👍👍
  12. Looks and sounds like the perfect KK solution for all your grilling. Now let's see what you've got cooking.
  13. Did some chicken thighs on the KK today. Served with creamed potatoes and some of last summer's pickled hot peppers.
  14. I smoked 10 pounds of bacon on the KK recently but last night I smokes a few slices in the WFO. I'm looking forward to breakfast, truth be told I look forward to breakfast everyday.
  15. What a beautiful KK and just wait until to taste the food you cook on it.
  16. @jonj, years later I still remember that exact feeling.
  17. It really is gorgeous, thanks for the pix. There should be a small hole above the handle and the stem of the thermometer should just slide right in. There is also a clip that goes on the inside of the top that holds the stem in place but a lot of us don't bother to use it as the thermometer can't fall out and it makes it easy to clean it, plus some folks turn the desired temp to the 12 o'clock position making it easier to what the temp. is from a distance.
  18. Welcome Donator. Now down to business, where are the unboxing pix of that fantastic KK you just received? You know we want to relive our arrivals thru all your excitement too.
