  2. both dogs seem to think the couch is theirs.
  3. Nice work, Wilbur. Maybe it is a better height now for working on the top if you wanted to but I'm not sure how high it is now.
  4. Things are looking good so far and the colour of the KK is coming along too.
  5. I think you lied, you were laying down when you took them. :) I can see I'm going to have to put this on the to-do list.
  6. Oh my goodness, if I ate one of those gorgeous sliders I don't think I'd have room for dessert but sure would like to try it.
  7. mguerra, risotto sounds good but I wish you have taken pixs for us to drool over and the music sounds just as wonderful. I see a pix on the link you just posted, thanks.
  8. MadMedik, that pork sure came off the bones nice and clean and what a great smoke ring. You will have some great chilli.
  9. Tony, we had a really bad winter last year, one week we had two blizzards. It all started in Feb and went into March. It was unreal. I should have bought one of those t-shirts that said, "I survived the Winter of 2015."
  10. What a great thing to say, sure put some in my day. Thank you.
  11. Can't wait to see the 4 hour shot, it sure looks good.
  12. Sliced the 5 pounds of bacon, vacuumed sealed it and put it in the freezer. Test time- Time for breakfast. I forgot to set the timer for the SV egg and this is what you get when you guess 15 mins. Still delicious though, better than boiled.
  13. Sure looks tender and tasty. Put on a little ketchup and call those bones fries.
  14. Looks like be are all going to The CK Bistro for Thanksgiving.
  15. It's time to get ready for winter. My carpenter did these shutters give more protection for the ODK and I still have to stain them but that won't take long. On the other side is Sunbrella shades. They are the same as the ones on the wall behind the grills. In the summer all these shades come down and opens the ODK to the great outdoors. The wall to the right of MY chair comes down from ceiling to floor exposing a white hand rail and the great outdoors. There are also Sunbrella shades that go right across the front of the counter and grills to keep the snow out. Believe me there will be snow. See what I mean, this was from last Feb. just one of 5or 6 blizzards we had. When it is warm enough this is my favourite place to sit and watch the wildlife, squirrels, chipmunks and the birds. I have a Bluetooth speaker so that I can listen to my favourite radio station. When it's too cold to sit in the outdoor kitchen then it's a short hop skip and jump to the sunroom. It's good for all winter too because there is a wood stove in the corner.
  16. I would be over joyed if mine turned out as good as yours did, your dinner looks perfect.
  17. tinyfish, that cook looks awesome, I might have to steal it.
  18. Not even a cherry chocolate?
  19. Poutine was followed by a cherry chocolate that a friend of mine made- and inside-
  20. I was out for dinner this week and had halibut with giant shrimp. I could have sworn that the shrimp was cooked in butter but the chef assured me that there was no butter involved only olive oil and spice. I thought I'd died and went to heaven and I'm not a fan of shrimp. Lucky me the person I was with didn't like shrimp so I had two of these beauties.
  21. Thanks, everyone, I have to admit I was pretty happen when I opened the lid.
  22. The fries were crispy but over cooked. I would like to have started with bigger potato pieces and in order to do that I'll have to hand cut. That's asking for trouble but we'll see. I do want more inside the fry. Made poutine with these fries- Back to the drawing board.
