  1. Grandma and grandpa were sitting in their rockers on the porch. All of a sudden grandma slaps grandpa so hard he falls off his rocker. “What was that for, grandma?” Grandma: “ That’s for 50 years of bad sex” Grandpa gets back on his rocker then proceeds to slap grandma off hers. ‘What was that for, grandpa?” Grandpa: “That’s for knowing the difference!”
  2. That's a bunch of yummy looking yardbirds. I never get tired of chicken since it's so versatile.
  3. Dennis sent a photo of the Terra Blue pebbles on a smoker. I'm sure he won't mind me sharing so here it is... If he does mind I'll be banned for life here, so it was nice knowing you all!
  4. Nice setup tekobo. That rolling cabinet with the marble looking top looks great in the mix too. And BIGSHEP, my other Komodo was bronze tiles...looking for something different this time.
  5. I'd sure like to see those pebbles on a smoker. They're beautiful just sitting there so I'm pretty sure they'd look great on a Komodo. Thanks for the link too!
  6. I like those dark tiles for sure. That thing looks like it's brand new. I wouldn't mind seeing the new Terra Blue Pebble installed. I've just seen photos of the pebbles loose. My wife likes the Autumn nebula tiles and their variations. We shall see.
  7. Tiles or pebbles is the number one question right now. World problems for sure. I do like the different versions of nebula pebbles and tiles. Olive and gold included. Do you have a picture handy of your pit, Tony ? I can’t remember what yours looks like MacKenzie. I’ll decide by Wednesday. Unless I don’t.
  8. Someone cancelled their order so I purchased their 32" that was already on it's way to California. The previous buyer changed his mind again and decided he wanted the 32" after all. So now I'm back to square one. If there's any good news to this is that I can pick tiles or pebbles and the color I want now. The bad news is that instead of getting in at the end of October, it'll be closer to New Years Day.
  9. Fine looking meat, Tony. That steak has to be delicious. So what's Sureshot Sid's gunpowder?
  10. MacKenzie, I think you could cook a meat on a block of ice. That looks super tasty!
  11. I used to use the CyberQ and it's fine if you stay home with it. Trying to program it to read temps when you leave the area was impossible for me to accomplish. The solution...Fireboard! All I did was input my wifi password and it did the rest of the "programming." I can go to a grocery store, check out the temperatures of pit and meat, and bump up the heat from 230 to 260 if I want to. The app works great and I've never had a problem with it. I'm not familiar with the Thermoworks Billows.
  12. Beautiful place with delicious looking food. You couldn't ask for anything better than that. I'd sure like to try some of those goodies.
  13. No doubt there are plenty of good folks on here. Wilburpan, ckreef and his wife used to be on here all the time. Anyway, life goes on and people move on. One thing that didn't go away is people getting pumped about getting their KK. I still watch every singe unpacking thread because I know the feeling of getting that huge crate with all the goodies in it.
  14. It's nice to be back. I'm looking forward to getting the new smoker and visiting here on a regular basis, Speaking of missing people, where is Ceramic Chef? Did he fly the coop?
  15. That's true about notifications. But other readers that would like more info about the author's post and comments from others will have to keep reading to find out more. I guess they probably would anyway since they're in that section in the first place. Not world problems but thank you for the input.
  16. A farmer bought a new rooster and right away the rooster wanted every chicken in the farmhouse for his bride. Farmer: “Boy, you better slow down. You’re going to kill yourself” But the rooster didn’t listen and had his way with the ducks, cows, and goats. When the farmer saw him with a pig, he couldn’t believe it. Farmer: “Son, you going to kill yourself. Stop. Now” So one day the farmer saw the rooster spread eagle on the ground, wings stretched out and tongue hanging out. His eye were closed and he wasn’t breathing. Farmer: “I told you. I told you. Now look at you. All dead and not worth nothing!” The rooster barely raised a wing skyward. “Shhhhhhhh. Buzzards!”
  17. Thanks for the tips. I knew about the quote button, but if you quote someone's cook and photos, my reply goes to the bottom of the thread. Nowhere near the original post. I guess that's life. I will try Mackenzie's suggestion but I think it'll still go to the bottom of the thread. On the every day cooks, lots of different people post on there. They'd have to keep reading to the very end to possibly see all the comments people had for them. OK, now I know. Thanks again.
  18. If I'm looking at the topic "Everyday Misc Cooking Photos w/ details" and I want to reply to a specific post, it'll put my reply as the last reply for the whole group. There may be 4 different cook photos I want to comment on, but they'll all be at the end of the all the posts and not under the specific food post that I was commenting on. Is the only way to get my reply where I want it by catching the post right after it's made? I see only one "reply to this thread" button on the top of the page and I think what I'm looking for is a reply button for each post...not the whole group of posts.
  19. Looks perfect, Tony. Must be nice to eat outdoors now. The sun has decided to cook our area in the upper 80s and low 90s right now. Forgot beer???
  20. Another great looking meal. I'll bug you for bread tips when I get mine delivered.
  21. I agree C6Bill. MacKenzie loves her pebbles but she'd push it off the porch for a blue tile 32". It would sink into the snow never to be seen again.
