  1. Smart man to take care of your butcher!!! MacKenzie cooks for her carpenter for the same reason....she calls, he is there!!! Enjoy!!
  2. Hope your butcher likes it or he will be sneaking you 'select' cuts of meat instead of 'prime'
  3. Below is the tracking info on Aussie package. It just amazes me how a package travels half way around the world from little old Syracuse, NY to the land down under. Syracuse to Chicago to Tokyo to Sidney to Perth......guessing if there is no trouble with customs, Aussie should have his package today or tomorrow. I believe Tony B. said the last package he sent to Aussie went the other direction to Australia, the western route. Interesting, as he is closer to the Chicago hub than Syracuse. Small world we live in. October 7, 2018, 6:43 pm Departed PERTH, AUSTRALIA Your item departed a transfer airport in PERTH, AUSTRALIA on October 7, 2018 at 6:43 pm. 4. Very happy they arrived safely!!! Went I shipped some of the same stuff to @5698k , one of the bottles exploded and he had to clean up a mess. Started individually bagging the bottles after that. The Dinosaur BBQ restaurant was started by a couple motorcycle "bikers" and has a cult like following in Syracuse. it has grown to 5 or 6 restaurants in NY and serves decent BBQ food. Was voted one of the top BBQ joints in the US a few years back. I was telling @ckreef the Dinosaur is not my favorite BBQ food in Syracuse. We have a place call Limp Lizard that in my humble opinion serves better BBQ and has better sauce. However, people rave about the Dino sauce and ckreef really likes it too. I hope you enjoy it also! @Aussie Ora yours is on the way also. Will PM you the USPS tracking number. I do, however, expect you to proudly use the Cuse can cooler while sampling your winning sauce.
  5. Bunny...................Looked like a rat/cat to me????????
  6. Steve......I have to ask! I enjoy your sense of humor in your posts...................so wondering if there is a story about the plate your roast beef sandwich is sitting on????
  7. Now your talking.......................
  8. @Grant @Aussie Ora @tony b @ckreef Ready to ship...........................
  9. @Grant @Aussie Ora @tony b It was a valiant effort on the part of Syracuse, leading until the last two minutes. Feel bad about the injury to the Clemson QB. Hate to see that happen to any player. I have Aussie's address....Grant please PM me a mailing address where I can send your winnings (get your own chicken ). Tony you get some also for your nice POST-GAME UPDATE (will have my sister drop them off later this month). Will post a photo of the prize rubs & sauces before sending this this week. Love college football !! Too much fun ( @ckreef going to send the BBQ sauce I promised you also)
  10. I believe kick off is at noon..........Will accept any wagers up until then. We surprised them last year, up here in Syracuse. They are out for revenge!!!! Off to look at houses with my daughter....have a great day. Go Cuse!!!!!!!
  11. Aussie.......You know this is American football and not soccer.. I accept your wager!!!!!!
  12. Grant, The bet is on . The local rub/sauce is great on chicken...........but don't start counting them until they hatch .
  13. Glad you are back to post all about the breads I buy at the Wegman's bakery
  14. Tomorrow Syracuse University plays Clemson in Death Valley Stadium. Both teams are undefeated. Any KK Clemson fans willing to bet some of your best local or favorite seasonings on the outcome of the game?? I say Syracuse upsets the home team ! Al-comers.............................Post your acceptance of my challenge before game time and the bet is on. If SU wins.......you owe me a container of your favorite/local rub or sauce and if by some crazy chance my team loses........I will send you some of our local award winning Dinosaur BBQ rub or sauce. May the best team win!!!!!!!
  15. Simple also.....even I could make this..........canned blueberry filling of course
  16. MacKenzie.....................................Curious, How did you cook it???
  17. I own 4 different brands of kamado's including a KJ. Each has a different purpose and I enjoy cooking on all of them. That being said.......I did not enjoy being a member of the KJ Forum and the administration of it. Left them over a year ago and never looked back. I do know some of our KK forum members enjoy the site and the cooking challenges. Like ToastedMorsel....it was not for me.
  18. Forgot to say...........Welcome from Upstate New York!!!!!!
  19. Welcome.........Love my KK but I also have the KJ Jr and the Akorn Jr. Both are nice little cookers. Hang around here and before long you will get the KK fever Everyone welcome here!!
  20. A decent cover will do the trick. We get an average of 12 feet of snow per year and my cover has kept the cooker nice and dry. I do try to cover the cooker while it is still a little warm.
  21. Thanks.................Check out the story below: There is a back story on the name "Old Dog"...........................a good friend of mine, Robin and I co-owned a little 8 lb. Yorkie pup. Jasper. He was a great boater and loved to drink beer. If you put your can down, he would finish it for you. One day, after an afternoon on the water with one of my buddies, his co-owner Robin came to pick him up. When she picked him up in her arms and smelled beer on his breath (I guess we didn't watch him that close),........she started giving my buddy and I the business. At the same time, both my buddy and I said "Bad Dog!!!!!". Robin was not amused but we thought it was hilarious. The next summer I bought a new boat and the re-naming process began. Below is the name and logo the family voted on. Sadly, this June at 15 years old Jasper is no longer with us. Robin, family & friends all agreed that the new name and logo (artists rendering of Jasper) was perfect for the new/old boat. Hopefully in a few weeks, they will be docked next to each other
  22. The Marina Master basically gave it away so he could start charging slip & storage fees.........smart guy!!!
