  1. Get it more like 350°-400° for the first three hours. Slowly from there until you get a chemical smell and park it, let it cook. Robert

  10. This is an adjustment that doesn't require anything to be removed, so don't worry about messing anything up. Do it with the lid up though! Robert
  11. Beautiful grill!! The latch is a common problem, don't fret. As long as the latch isn't "difficult" to close, I wouldn't mess with it, it will loosen a bit with time. Robert

  21. I tend to close my top vent to the point that the fan has to run about 30% of the time or the fire goes out. This prevents temp runaways Robert
