    Big Ol' Meatloaf

That's it - french baguette tray, and it had holes in it. Never saw it used for meat, but it seems it could be. Dunno about the "double" description. The one I saw had only one cradle in it.

    Big Ol' Meatloaf

They make a long cradle-like pan for cooking long loaves of bread. It's rather M shaped in cross section, with the middle part rounded to cook the bread in. Shallow legs. The bottom of the cradle isn't far up from the oven surface. Not sure where I've seen one. Maybe that would work for a m'loaf so the crust doesn't come off, F'monkey?
  4. O. I din't know if the question was to see the black one, or see OTB. :::: Now, some of each.
  5. Here's a link to the black 22" OTB It's on the inventory page. Here's a link to the black 22" OTB. It's on the second row of pics. http://homepage.mac.com/komodokamado/PhotoAlbum1.html
  6. You could post on the K boards. Might be someone interested. Or post on Craig's List for your area.
  7. How come he's the one drinkin, and I'm seein double?
  8. Brand of meat thermometer? Anyone have success/failure with particular brands of meat thermometers? What about the remote type, that allows one to sit inside and read library books while supper cooks? PLEASE don't answer with Guru or Stoker discussion. I mean the lower tech, under $75 kind. There are instant read, and pen-type, and battery op displays with a probe into the meat. Lots of brands. Suggestions? Horror stories?
  9. Um... I think that looks like a t-shirt with some sort of obscene graphic on it...
  10. Re: Couple More I'd put the first K above, and the second K below. Same as you have, except raise KOMODO and lower KAMADO. Flip the dragon, if you have to, so the tail isn't in the way. You want Komodo more prominent, right? And you can pretend the lizard is snarling at the other word. That'll make you feel better, anyway.
  11. Re: Friday night And yet you are here too? -=Jasen=- Yahwell, you weren't supposed to notice that.
  12. Friday night And YOU PEOPLE don't have anything better to do on a Friday night than THIS?? Yeesh...
  13. I thought it was a salamander. They're associated with fire, after all. Kinda fits with the whole Q thing. Dunno why one would be on the logo, but hey, that's just me.
  14. You like the pic on my avatar, huh? Babe on a fur rug? Ooh baby, etc. Dunno how I feel about being pawed by an ape, though. That's so DONE, you know? Porkchop, your new KK looks rather like Marvin the martian from Bugs Bunny. That little black faced fella with the attitude and the broom on his head. Or Felix the Cat? Someone with mischief, for sure.
  15. And the part of Fay Wray will be played by? Perhaps Porkchop in a grass skirt...
  16. Baby ceramic cooker on the way Samantha, thanks for the welcome. Clean and fun lawyer jokes welcome. I escaped ordinary legal practice, and now work for the State of NJ (when it's open - last one out, turn off the lights), Department of Envt. Protection. Thank you, too, firemonkey. Curly, is it that obvious I'm me? Oh my... who knew? You don't think I could be faking? DrunkJ, I never mentioned a name - you could have remained anonymous and just the two of us would have know about the PM. :* But thanks for outing yourself. Very kind of you. The new baby (delivery date unknown, but maybe by the end of July) is a cobalt blue tiled "middle sized" of the 5 standard sizes the company offers. Just me and the garbage gullet dog, so I didn't need a giant one, but I wanted the versatility that the size offers.
  17. Thanks, Curly! I appreciate the public welcome. The PM "welcome" from someone else, not so much. But perhaps that person thought I was here to be mean. And thanks to the forum for the funny posts about me. I've been having fun reading them (not kidding). Feel free to continue. Yes, I'm a cheery poster, mostly. Don't intend to be any less pleasant here than on another ceramic cooking forum or on priusonline.com. References available, if you like. I hadn't intended to post, really, until you waved. I'd been lurking for a while, looking for ceramic cooking tips and recipes, but when I heard there might be people on one forum pretending to be people on another forum, I thought I'd sign up so no one would mislead this forum. When my ceramic cooker arrives, I'll post photos of my messterpieces. For now, it's just me and the GE electric range. But with baking stones on both racks, I make a wicked pizza, delicious bread, and biscotti my Grandma Anna Lucia would be proud of! Q on!
