GrillnBrew
Received my emails early this morning, need to call the shipping company to see what my ETA is. Might be cooking by Memorial Day!
braindoc
I haven’t called yet but the shipping info gave an expected ETA of May 27. I’m hoping to schedule for mid or late in the afternoon, so I don’t have to cancel any patient appointments, lol. BTW, what state are you in?
Troble
@braindoci found the two sheets of plywood I used to move my 32 and took the tape measure to it. It’s 1/2 inch

Plywood and other construction materials prices are ridiculous right now.

Mind you I am speaking in Canadian dollars but I just bought 2 sheets (4x8 feet, 3/4 thick for my 42") and they were $85 a sheet.. lol. C6Bill
I’m going to try and wait patiently for the shipping company to contact me. I’m 30 miles south of Boston so I know it won’t be here any time soon. But I know it is on the way so I’m happy 😁

The initial trucking info says ETA next Wednesday. Maybe it is too optimistic to think that will be it, but certainly before Memorial Day would be great. We were married on the Sunday of that weekend, 14 years ago. I’m telling my wife it is her wedding anniversary gift.
Troble
I work with roofers and they are complaining about plywood prices. Normally $9/sheet now $45/50/sheet I paid $70 to get two sheets when I got my new KK in January, but if you e bought a KK you’ll fork over the extra few bucks to make sure it gets delivered properly

There is no ETA on my BOL and no results for the same BOL on their web site. I’ll call them tomorrow.
braindoc
Apparently not. Mine is with Frontline. It has been “in transit” since 5/18. The tracking info is: Status: LINE HAUL UNIT DELAYED DUE TO BACKLOG WHILE AT THE LAX HUB Estimated Delivery Date: Wednesday, 05/26/2021 It goes to Elizabeth, NJ and once it is at their unloading terminal final delivery can be scheduled. I will call them tomorrow. Hopefully, you’ll get some information too. Edited May 23, 2021 by braindoc Clarity
braindoc
Picked up a couple of 4x8 1/2 inch plywood boards yesterday, but just checked on the KK delivery and see they have pushed it back to June3. 😪
C6Bill
Mine is going to NJ also and I was told I would be called around 6/2 to arrange final delivery
Jadeite
Mine has been pushed back a few days too (now says ETA 28th) but is apparently in Chicago already before coming up to Canada. Hasn't been updated in a few days though so hard to say where it truly is.
braindoc
Pushed back even more. ETA to unloading facility (presumably New Jersey) is now June 3; final ETA, June 7. Since Friday is the only day I’m not scheduled to work, that means June 11 would be the first day I’d be home for a delivery.
