I'm in the States for a while. - Father

My father is terminally ill and has entered hospice. I flew back to be with him. No good time to loose a parent, I'm not sure how long I'll be here.

Dennis sorry to hear about your dad. I lost my dad last year and he is one of the reasons I researched and ended up buying a KK. Take care of your dad and family. We will be here if you need us. My prays are with you.

He's now gone..

My father Jack Linkletter died in his sleep the morning of December 18th at his home in Dry Creek Valley after battling cancer for almost 3 years. He was the definition of a brilliant, amazing loving man and 70 years young.

In his post-mortem screed to us he wrote,

"I do have one last question: I spent all these years, feeding my curiosity, reading, questioning, analyzing, what do I do with all this stuff?

P.S. I have just been cleared for landing."

My thoughts are with you, Dennis. That photo reminds me a lot of what my mom told us when our dad died. She told us to remember the good things and that photo looks like the very best of things.
