tinyfish
Looks delicious. I've used beer and red wine before but never tried white wine. Excellent. I never seem to have red wine when I make this recipe or thats what I would use first. I like the taste of beef stew with red wine so pulled beef with red wine should be just as good. tomahawk66
Hey Tinyfish, what is the grey stone (is it stone?) container in this picture? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
tinyfish
Hey Tinyfish, what is the grey stone (is it stone?) container in this picture? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Its some type of metal roasting pan probably for a turkey with a lid.
MacKenzie
I think it is an enameled roast pan. Everyone used to use them for roasting chickens, etc.
tony b
I grew up with those pans. Everybody had them. You didn't see a Thanksgiving turkey at anybody's house that didn't come out of one of those enamel pans!
tinyfish
I rock it old school. Now I wonder where I got the pan from....maybe my mom gave me hers. We don't cook alot of turkeys.

EGGARY
Nice idea using wine instead of beer. How was the taste using wine ? How about Red Wine ?
tinyfish
Nice idea using wine instead of beer. How was the taste using wine ? How about Red Wine ? The first time I made it with wine I had no red wine so I used white wine. Red wine would be excellent just like making a beef stew with red wine. Wine gives the pulled beef more flavor then beer does in my opinion.
