MacKenzie Posted October 18, 2015 Report Posted October 18, 2015 This is an idea that I've borrowed from Tony's pizza post:) Started with some cooked chicken, marinated it in Sriracha sauce to spice things up a little. Here it is all dressed and ready for Pebbles. Not quite baked but looking good. Baked. Plated. Did a repeat, here is the second one.
MacKenzie Posted October 18, 2015 Author Report Posted October 18, 2015 Thanks, everyone. They were enjoyed. Before I bought the KK I often thought about buying a wood fired clay pizza oven but I don't think about that now. Just look at the money the KK has saved me.
PRippley Posted October 18, 2015 Report Posted October 18, 2015 I love pesto, those pizzas look fabulous MacK!
MacKenzie Posted October 18, 2015 Author Report Posted October 18, 2015 Thanks, PJ, I never thought about using pesto until Tony posted one he made. I will be doing that again.
PRippley Posted October 18, 2015 Report Posted October 18, 2015 Our local pizza place, which luckily also brews great beer, has a yummy pesto chicken pizza, the other two toppings that come standard on it are diced tomato and toasted slivered almonds, which add a nice texture. Glad you were inspired MacKenzie and way to go on providing the inspiration tony...what beers are you brewing this fall?ðŸºðŸ•
PRippley Posted October 18, 2015 Report Posted October 18, 2015 Also tony and MacK can you see I changed my profile picture to my pint glass partially filled with beer sitting on top of Saphira?😜
MacKenzie Posted October 18, 2015 Author Report Posted October 18, 2015 I knew it was different and now that you mention it I see the glass half full. BTW my glass is half full too, soon to be empty:) Next time I'll have to add the diced tomatoes and toasted slivered almonds.
Poochie Posted October 19, 2015 Report Posted October 19, 2015 Beautiful pizza, Mackenzie! I've never made one with chicken on it. I'd probably put pepperoni on it anyway to keep the chicken company. 1

Glad you were inspired MacKenzie and way to go on providing the inspiration tony...what beers are you brewing this fall? I've got 3 in secondary right now - copper ale, pumpkin ale, and a nut brown. They will go with the traditional bock that I brewed back in April and lagered all summer and a Baltic Porter that I made almost a year ago; they are for an upcoming beer tasting fundraiser event in November that I am hosting for a nonprofit that I'm on the Board of Directors. Thanks for the props, MacKenzie. You've inspired me to do many cooks here on the Forum!!
PRippley Posted October 22, 2015 Report Posted October 22, 2015 Nice! I would like to sample all your beers.
