Side Ribs

Side ribs are on sale this week so you know whats for dinner. I used a four way rub of Cimarron Doc's Sweet Rib Rub, Smokin Guns Mild rub, Eat Barbeque rub and Texas Original Rub. I cooked the ribs indirect at 225f.

Those look great. Do you have a favourite? I'm partial to the Hero BBQ rub. More importantly, what were your sides?

Dinner all messed up tonight I had company all afternoon and it got in the way of my challenge cook. I started another thread with a couple of the other dishes I made.

Ribs look good. When it's challenge cook time both my son and Mrs skreef know to stay out of my way. I usually make it harder on myself than it needs to be. And I'm running around half frantic to get it all ready and setup for a good picture.

That's why I haven't jumped into that pool! I'm much too competitive for my own stress levels.

Looks perfect to me, can never have too many ribs.. I toss them in in bag in a bowl of warm water to reheat.

Microwave can mess up the texture.

 

That's where the Anova comes in handy. Set it to a low temp (120F) and just reheat them without further cooking.
