Now we are waiting to see your first cook. Do you have that determined yet? Thanks everyone. I am doing a Boston Butt today just to give that a try since I have actually never cooked one in my entire life. Dad always did that. I have a border to finish, and now that I got the grill on there, I am going to actually move it and pour a small pad of concrete. It's just not right on the flag stone. We just extended our drive way too, now that all the trucks and equipment are finished ruining my driveway and surrounding area, I can start on building a metal table to surround my BB. I checked things to see where it stood.
ckreef Posted March 28, 2016 Report Posted March 28, 2016 Butt is looking good. . I actually think it looked good siting on the flag stones but then again I'm a little partial to flag stones. Charles - Prometheus 16.5", Cassiopeia 19" TT

CeramicChef Posted April 4, 2016 Report Posted April 4, 2016 Congrats on that first cook! It's always special and it's always a great thing to get some soot on the refractory! Congrats and kudos to you!
Poochie Posted April 18, 2016 Report Posted April 18, 2016 Looks good, Keep Up, but it's mandatory on here to show a "money shot" of your finished cook and tell us how tasty it was. I have a bronze metallic also in the 22" size
