Danny B Posted April 14, 2016 Report Posted April 14, 2016 (edited) Hello, Mom just gave me her old KK. It is 7 years old but looks new . Guess she never used it much. I am looking forward to learning how to use this beast, if I can ever move it to the back yard. The wheels are not rolling very well because it had not been moved in so long. CeramicChef Posted April 14, 2016 Report Posted April 14, 2016 @Danny B - welcome to The KK Forum and welcome to The Obsession! Your Mom must love you so very much. I've got two kids and I'm not giving them Beauty! and TheBeast, my 2 KKs, until I start to assume room temperature! You are going to love your new KK!
DennisLinkletter Posted April 14, 2016 Report Posted April 14, 2016 Looks great.. I'd hit the bearings on those castors with some WD-40 if they are not spinning freely. Please send me an email and I'll put o=you on our owner's mailing list.
tinyfish Posted April 14, 2016 Report Posted April 14, 2016 Congratulations on your new to you KK. It looks brand new in the pictures. Time to dirty up that KK.
ckreef Posted April 14, 2016 Report Posted April 14, 2016 Really great looking KK. Mom did you right with that one.
MacKenzie Posted April 14, 2016 Report Posted April 14, 2016 Danny, welcome and what a wonderful gift that is and what a special Mother.:)
Jon B. Posted April 14, 2016 Report Posted April 14, 2016 Hello Danny.........................what a great gift from Mom!!! (don't forget May 8th is Mothers Day....or she might ask for it back ). You are going to love that cooker!!!!!!
5698k Posted April 14, 2016 Report Posted April 14, 2016 Does mom have any old cars she wants to give away? Rob 2
bosco Posted April 14, 2016 Report Posted April 14, 2016 incredible gift!! Is this your first kamado? You stumbled into the high end of BBQ my friend
Danny B Posted April 14, 2016 Author Report Posted April 14, 2016 WD40 seemed to free up the castors and I got some plywood to help move the KK into place. From all I read about this BBQ, I think I am going to love it. A big upgrade from my Webber Kettel that I have been using for the past 4 years.
5698k Posted April 14, 2016 Report Posted April 14, 2016 The kk is an upgrade from any grill, you're gonna love it! In case you didn't know, never use lighter fluid to light, and preferably use lump charcoal. Robert 1
bosco Posted April 14, 2016 Report Posted April 14, 2016 this is a really good forum to learn from. I also like the kamadoguru.com It would be nice to see more KK members over there representing as well!! 1

I also like the kamadoguru.com It would be nice to see more KK members over there representing as well!! Just not MacKenzie. Wouldn't want her to start entering the challenges. LOL - We'd all be doomed. It's hard enough keeping up with you and tinyfish. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk 1
