bosco Posted May 9, 2016 Report Posted May 9, 2016 I saw this floating around the internet and adapted it to my shepherds pie recipe. This turned out really great. My wife hates shepherds pie so I am the only one that eats it. These will be easy to freeze and defrost when I want, rather than a large pie 1
tony b Posted May 9, 2016 Report Posted May 9, 2016 Bosco, that's just dynamite! Gotta remember that one, as I need it in my toolbox.
ckreef Posted May 10, 2016 Report Posted May 10, 2016 Great idea and great cook. Going back to the drawing board on my meat and potatoes after seeing this. Glad I didn't post Sunday nights cook. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
tinyfish Posted May 10, 2016 Report Posted May 10, 2016 Now thats a great idea. I have to give this a try.
Stile88 Posted May 10, 2016 Report Posted May 10, 2016 Looks delicious very good idea for shepherd's pie
wilburpan Posted May 10, 2016 Report Posted May 10, 2016 Clever! And they look delicious! Did you you bake the potatoes before scooping them out, or were they still raw when they were filled?
bosco Posted May 10, 2016 Author Report Posted May 10, 2016 I microwaved them, turning them every five min
tony b Posted May 10, 2016 Report Posted May 10, 2016 Sort of a nice twist on the "twice baked" potato!
