MacKenzie
Set the KK up last night for an early morning pizza cook. Took a few pixs while it was quiet, windless, bugless, and nice clear air. It's about 6 AM. You can still see the moon in this first pix. Some pansies in the garden. Just look at all that peacefulness. Another reason to be up and out is this- Cooked @500F for 7 mins. then dropped a huge egg on for the last 2 mins. \ Sliced. Toppings were cooked mushrooms, cooked bacon, SV fried potatoes, diced tomato, cheese and a sprinkle of anise and fennel. CeramicChef
Beautiful pizza, @MacKenzie! Kudos on a very nice cook. I absolutely LOVE that bucolic setting you live in up there in Nova Scotia! It look s like a little piece of heaven fell to earth and you get to live there. Enjoy!
dstr8
That IS a very peaceful looking place of your's MacKenzie! Your breakfast pizza fits right in! How long did you heat soak your KK before the bake?
MacKenzie
Thanks, CC, I'm thinking that Heaven is modeled after N.S. dstr8, I'm pretty sure it was heat soaked for an hour although I didn't do the actual timing. I lit the grill before I took my pixs because I wanted it to be properly heat soaked. Guess that's why I never did a breakfast pizza before. It's certainly not a quick prep. Fortunately I like being up early.:)

MacKenzie
Finished off that breakfast pizza this morning right after seeing that the plants were watered and the critters fed. I have a new and unwelcome guest this morning- He is heading for underneath the wood shed. It had better not jump out and grab my feet. eek! Time to settle down and eat breakfast. and the really healthy part, a fruit smoothie.
CeramicChef
@MacKenzie - don't you just love having new guests move in and make themselves right at home? Your reputation precedes you! They've head how well you cook and provide so they're lining up to get some goodies! All those little critters do is take one look at all the goodness you cook and it's a no brainer! In they move ! Bautiful pics as always.
