Steven Salsman
Howdy, I have an older Kamado ... The company has since gone out of business. It is still in fair shape but when it fails I would love to replace it with a Komodo Kamado. Stay tuned. Steve
5698k
Your RJ appears to be in pretty good shape, plus I love your back drop! Get a kk, it'll make the background look much better. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
MacKenzie
Welcome, Steve. Beautiful as is but just imagine what it would be like with a KK or two. Edited August 24, 2017 by MacKenzie
tony b
Shocking to see a POSK with all the tiles still on it! You're one of the very few lucky ones it looks like! But, speaking as a previous POSK owner, you'll be amazed at the difference in quality in the KK - night and day!!
Steven Salsman
Yes, I know I am a lucky one. But notice the tiles missing on the feet...... Lance a friend helped me position it by using plywood and rolling it to it's location... Guess to much stress on the feet .. slowly tiles have started to fall off. I still have the tiles but no patience to fix...... Amazingly only falling off down below. I became aware of the Komodokamado a few years ago........ big difference... POSK= ????? tony b
POSK = Piece of Sh!t Kamado. A standard term for the ones made by Richard Johnson. Who, by the way, is still out there trying to swindle folks into buying his POSKs. I still get a random email newsletter a couple of times a year from him. He's legendary on the web - http://kamadofraudforum.org/
Steve M
Now that the thought is in your head, I will place the over/under at 30 days. Don't fight it.
CeramicChef
@Steven Salsman - WOWZERS. That is the best looking RJ POSK kamado I've ever seen. And as 5698 k says, that's a beautiful view you have. The only thing that would improve that is a bright, shiny, new KK!
