1st Snow of the Season

At least we made it to November before we got our 1st snow this season. Less than 1" last night, but it counts as the 1st official snow. Should be gone by mid-day.

Visiting Denver for a few days and the initial weather report of four clear days has turned into two blizzard days with the temp getting up to seasonal average the day we leave...

Syracuse predicted to get 6" to 10" of Lake Effect tonight.  Our first major snow this season.   

Cut the grass yesterday (and it needed it).  Lawn mower in.....snow blower out

Thanks, those balusters took me a while to find online, as I wanted something unique when I had the deck rebuilt. Something to compliment the TREX construction.

We got hit with another 3" last night. The wet stuff that the snow blower doesn't like, so I'm not going to bother. It's already melting and it's supposed to be sunny tomorrow, which should take care of it.

We had 15 cm on Fri. but we had one just before Halloween so this one isn't our first. I took this shot on the way home today, you can see that the river is already starting to freeze, yikes.

Nice picture Mac. Sorry about the snow I can’t imagine what it’s like going through winter. It’s beautiful but a real pain I bet. I’ve lived in Hawaii and California the past 61 years, if the temp gets to the upper 30s or forties we are freezing LOL. Snow or no snow have a wonderful Thanksgiving! Or what ever you celebrate there in Canada

Thanks Bruce.  It is beautiful. We have had our Thanksgiving in Oct. so now we get to sit back and see what the Americans are doing for their Thanksgiving.

I just scraped off 6" of snow off of my boat .  Nice picture!!!!!
