  2. I have personally used both the 32” and 38”, and without question, I like the 38”. The three piece grates in the 38” are an absolute game changer. As I get older, the weight of the grates in these larger grill becomes a thing. As far as 38” vs 42”, I don’t know for sure. It may boil down to whether one or the other is available in a color you like. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. To be clear I'm not looking to buy one used, just looking to see one in person before pulling the trigger. I am tempted by the 38 over the 32, and I'm tempted by the 42 over the 38. I actually find the 38 vs 42 decision to be a tough one.

  5. I just did some a few weekends ago. I cut up an oak log and put the chunks right in with the lump. Turned out amazing!

  7. Ironic. I was telling a friend last night about making bacon on my KK. Haven't done in a while. Has me thinking.
  8. some hot smoked cured bacon
  9. Not as bad as we used to be!
  10. Love porchetta, but rarely put in the work to make. Hats off!
  11. Not a bad time to revisit this post..
  12. Careful...some of these folks are really good at spending other people's money!
  13. Yeah, just get one from Dennis. The price difference won’t really be that much different, plus you get to pick your color, and it’s delivered to your door, which is much easier than transporting one yourself. Take a look at the 38” while you’re at it, it’s incredibly versatile. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Just get one, you wont be disappointed. I'm on the other coast but this is mine !!!

  19. You should reach out to Dennis, he might know someone
  20. Made a Porchetta Abruzzo style with salsa verde today on my Kamado as well as Smoked Acorn Squash with Parmesan Flan for dinner tonight. Quite possibly the best thing I’ve ever made! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  21. Yes, you can cook a tomahawk steak hanging in your KK, but the main question is whether hanging it cooks better than grilling it horizontally. It isn't automatically better, and your concern about uneven cooking is reasonable.
  22. That is mouth watering!🥰👍👍
  23. We have been enjoying the first warm weather here in Melbourne for awhile, so decided it was a good weekend for tacos Al Pastor, and which I haven’t cooked for more than a year now… shouldn’t have left it this long!
  24. Came back from a vacation in Italy and my grillfriend was screaming "where have you been!" Cooked up a Gessner Farm Tomahawk drizzled with truffle infused white balsamic vinegar, smoked West Indian Squash Gratin, and truffle infused risotto that we bought in Parma. A great welcome back home meal infused with essences of our trip! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  25. Mixed grill tonight- with the highlight being a 1kg piece of rib eye reverse seared. Happy days!
