A very good friend of mine died last September, very tragically, on my birthday none the less. He was a big marvel and Avengers fan and we had a long conversation about the Avengers campus at California Adventures and the shawarma cart & Infinity Stone hand /drink holder they sold there. Since he didn’t have kids I promised to bring him home the shirt and drink holder. Unfortunately he didn’t make it to accept it but I went to Disneyland l/CA Adventures with my family last week and I bought the shirt & cup holder as promised. Made the chicken shawarma meal tonight that he would’ve been here for. Some meals mean more than others and tonight was a special one…..

The 19.5" I bought in April 2009 is still in perfect condition and working hard each weekend.

:::waving::: I still have my pre-Dennis cooker (aka Mexi-K). That MUST be more than 20 years, right? I lost track of time. The neighbor's tree fell on it and took off a tile or two on the legs, but otherwise it's intact. Still has its Johnnyboy Jammies (cover) on it, although that's surely worse for wear. The K doesn't get as much use as I'd like, though. I'm just one person, and I just don't usually want to fire up the grill for a single burger or steak. And forget about using an entire pork butt! I KNOW supper would taste better, but, you know, inertia. When I fired it up a couple of years ago, the fireman from across the street came to investigate. So much smoke, he figured that I was either electing a new Pope, or my house was on fire. Turned out to be neither. And yes, I do still knit. xo all!

i used the cradle for the first time today. wasn't having a good time because i'm cooking pieces that are too small for this setup. 3 little chickens and a bunch of corn. i was right to assume the corn would fall out mid cook, because it did and had to fish out some burnt corn from the fire. after that one of the chickens was rolling around as if it was in side a tumble dryer. the chicken turned out good, but next time i need to roast bigger cuts. also ran a usb powered rotisserie motor first time, seems alright!

just baked a sd in my idk. acronyms! last month i bought a ankarsrum mixer thinking it would make better, faster bread. man that machine sucks. or maybe i dont know how to use it. anyway, i sold it earlier tonight and i’m back to kneading by hand. very aggressive rabbit ear with this one..

Forgot to take pictures while cooking but did a quick reverse sear on an 8 Oz filet earlier today. The onion rings were air fried

@Poochie, thanks and I agree the KK does do a marvelous job on chicken, it is always nice and moist.

It was a miserable day, cloudy with strong cold north west winds but that doesn't stop a KK rotisserie cook.

Hi Tyrus - Melbourne has approximately 5million people- compared to the US we have a tiny population in Australia.

Closing in on 1 million cooks. I wonder if Dennis will buy it back and put it in his showroom...lol
