  1. Hey all, First post! After many years of looking, I finally pulled the trigger and got the Bronze 32 BB delivered to San Diego today. Pictures attached. Everything about the delivery was first class, and the ramp provided was great. It took about an hour from crate being dropped off to get the 32 into it's spot in the backyard (daisy chained two 4x8' plywood). Rolled super easily on the plywood. Can't thank you enough for building a truly world class product Dennis! Best, Bryan

  3. Rib Eye fillets were on sale. Couldn’t help myself Rubbed in 3 peppers- purple, green and black with a little salt. That was forward seared straight from the fridge at 1c. Delicious salty pepper crust. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  5. Thanks everyone for the warm welcome! That's Dennis' left short SS cabinet. Incredibly well made! Fits all my charcoal, accessories, and tools. First cook is tonight. Gonna go with lamb ribs (dry rub plus occasional sauce basting), and a burger on request for my neighbor who cut the plywood for me for move in. I love it, and honestly it's awesome just to look at in the backyard!

  7. Hahaha, thanks Ben. Which one did you get? Can’t wait to see it! Here’s prep for first cook. Ingredients on left are for the paste. West Cost IPA and Mason Jar are for my enjoyment. Carolina Sauce for a finish... Finished product coming tonight.

  8. Man, I'm seriously jealous right now. My 32 is in transit now somewhere in the Midwest probably. It's scheduled to get to the terminal on the east coast this Mon so I'm like a week behind you. Please post some pics so I can live vicariously through them and make it through the next week LOL!!!

  9. Love it. I’m ordering a steel plate. I did not use the deflector that came with the KK just the pizza stone. Came out great though needed a crispier crust.

  10. Warmed up leftovers, drumstick in the airfryer and rice in the microwave. It still tastes just fine.

  11. The crate should have a sticker on one side at the bottom that reads "Important place supplied ramp on this side only". white background, black lettering, red arrow pointing downward.

  12. Lillie's sauce is the BEST! I would highly recommend Lillie's gold sauce for things like pork butts and ribs. It's my go to and people usually flip out when they haven't had it before. I ordered up the Autumn Harvest Gold Flake 32, it's kinda orange-ish in color. Here's a pic from the website before it was taken down...

  13. Tony G. is the real deal. His book, "The Pizza Bible" is pretty much the only pizza book I've come across that is worth the price. He's even respected at pizzamaking.com, which is saying a LOT, because they pretty much hate everybody.

  18. I ordered 160 pounds. The bags arrived in better condition than any lump I’ve ever ordered before. I’m very pleased with the transaction. No dust on the bags, or in the boxes at all.

  19. Yeah, it's pretty good. Thanks for the tip! I'm about to try a new one - John Henry. Yep, the same folks that make the BBQ sauce. Will report back after a couple of cooks on it.

  20. Kamado Joe big Block for $1/pound. This is surprisingly good lump for the cheapest price I’ve ever seen. I rate it pretty closely to Fogo and JD, but not quite as good. https://www.costco.com/kamado-joe-lump-charcoal-20lb,-4-pack.product.100482227.html

  23. Similar dinner tonight - Indonesian Chicken Satay, with peanut sauce. Chicken on the main grate, direct, 325F, with coffee wood chunks. No skewers tonight - whole pieces. Plated with the peanut sauce and an awesome rice with sumac, parsley and cilantro, with a nice salad.

  26. Inspired by Troble's shawarma cook. Mine was pre-marinated from Trader Joes - really good! But, unfortunately, no Pliny to go with it? 😪 Direct, main grate, 325F, hickory wood chunks. Plated with a nice Greek salad w/simple lemon juice dressing; warm pita w/sumac and parsley; yogurt sauce of lemon juice, fresh garlic, dill, parsley and sumac. With my favorite summer wine - vinho verde.

  27. Pecan-crusted pork tenderloin pinwheels with Carolina mustard sauce from my very good friend [in my dreams] Chris Lilly. Strips of swine tenderloin rolled up with bacon, crusted with ground pecans. A hint of hickory smoke to take it over the top. Fantastic. Soooooooey!
