  1. Correct as drawn Wilbur. You can often buy them pre-cut as well.
  2. Congrats Poochie. Now begins the longest wait. This part stinks, but you will have a blast once you get it.
  3. First time for me CC. Certainly won't be the last. I found the bourbon cask wood to go perfect with the roast. I'll try your recommendations as well
  4. Wow! I tried the recipe in this link for the first time last week. Unbelievable. Sorry, no pics. http://howtobbqright.com/blog/?p=1866 I made the following adjustments: -Smoked roast on the grill for 1.5 hours with bourbon oak barrel staves -I added two sprigs of rosemary and several sprigs of thyme -Veggies were quartered onions, carrots, and baby Bella mushrooms -Roast was served with mashed potatoes I have to say it was fantastic. If you haven't tried this, I highly recommend it. The family raved about the smell and taste.
  5. Perfectly cooked Robert. Disappointing on the rub. I bought a can too and have yet to try it.
  6. Nice cook Wilbur. Try buying St. Louis style trimmed spareribs when you want to try again. The kiddos might find them easier to work with.
  7. Welcome hawk. Glad you found us. You will likely want either a cabinet or the side tables if you will be on a balcony or porch. I recommend the basket splitter and pizza stone for sure. I don't have the rotisserie, but several do and love it. Here is my 23".
  8. Man Robert. You're pulling out all of the stops this week. Lookin good!
  9. Poochie, You have a real quandary. If you feel strongly regarding the pebble, hold off and get what you really want. But if you do wait, it will feel like forever after you make the decision to buy one before you get one.
  10. Thanks for the high dome feedback. I do pizzas and chickens all the time using the upper grate in the dome. I haven't had the need to do multiple butts on it though.
  11. MK, I'm curious. What kind of cooks does the higher dome allow for?
  12. Looks great Robert. Thanks for letting us join your experiment. I'm curious like CC. Will this be your standard method moving forward.
  13. What have you put together to connect your alligator clip to?
  14. I love these real-time cook diaries. Keep it coming Robert
  15. Looks great! Glad to see you are making use of all of the new toys.
  16. Wow MK. Look at you already working the basket splitter. Amazing looking burgers and those homemade buns are just ridiculous!
  17. It looks perfect. Pebbles is perfect as well!
  18. Love me some rabbit! Looks delicious reef.
