  1. Have been cooking them for a couple of years. They are VERY GOOD. On sale last for $4.99/lb. Took 3 home to go with the ones in the freezer. Price keep going up a couple of weeks ago they were priced $6.99.
  2. Dennis will you Please stop posting pictures like these. You are making things very difficult. I have our home on the market plus my OTB getting ready for a move to AZ. The problems is I cannot buy an upgrade until we get moved and settled. Oh well it just one of the problems with you making the best cooker in the world. Thank you very much.
  3. They all look pretty darn good. Mine came off this morning in 5 degree weather. No pictures. Pulled and food saved for gifts to the neighbors. Hope this is my last cold over night. Moving to AZ next year.
  4. Welcome to the forum. You will love your KK. Nice looking place for it. Also s very good looking dog.
  5. Thanks. Ponds are fun. My wife and I did this one. We paid to have it dug, hard clay soil. We did the rest of it. It was work but well worth it.
  6. Re: WOW! K am putting in a koi pond now so I am always looking for ideas. John Here is a picture of my pond 4000 gal. Not the best picture but it is the only one on the computer now. They are great to sit and relax and watch.

Very nice. I will have to try that.
  8. My handle has had that problem for some time. I plug it with a piece of wood it last for a couple of cooks in the 450 range. Still trying to figure out how to fix for it to last. I have had mine up to about 650 cleaning it up. Not a big problem.
  9. Looks great. I will have to try that.
  10. Found a package marked down before sell date. Used hosin sauce, garlic, onion and pepper flakes. Cooked indirect at 250 for about 2 1/2 hrs. Pretty good.
  11. Sorry the only parts I have are the cracked top and bottom. Had to use all the old hardware on the replacement I received after 8 months.
  12. I agree. We just got a Papa Murphy's in our little town. They are very good in the KK.
  13. I read it. Wish I could post of the other site. But I am a VERY HAPPY camper now. Any one need a table bottom and a bird bath holder? They look like parts of a another cooker, nice raspberry color with free cracks. :
  14. It's a very good book information on rubs, mops and great information on smoking. Another very good book is Paul Kirk's Championship Barbecue Sauces. It pretty well covers: ingredients, spices, seasonings, mustards, oils, vinegars, rubs, marinades, mops, sops, and a lot more.
  15. Nice job they do a great job of cooking. My only question is why add water to the drip pan? I have never seen the need to brine a butt they stay moist as they cook. Just my 1 cent worth.
  16. Wecome to the club So you got a replacement POSM. I did to it took 8 months of BS and more BS. The replacement starting showing cracks on the second low & slow. I took pictures and sent to RJ. He e-mailed me back saying that I was not doing the break in correctly but the cracks were no problem. I told him the low & slows were Guru controlled at 225. Ordered a KK and sold to POS and now every happy.
  17. Welcome when you do get a K you will be a HAPPY CAMPER.
