  1. Finally the blizzards let up enough so I could grill some pork patties today. Plated with steamed and roasted cabbage, rice and pickled beets. It sure was nice to cook on the KK for a change.
  2. We really are waiting to see your cooks on your beautiful KK.
  3. I like these steamer pans two and they are also good for sous vide. I have a couple of false bottoms, different sizes that I use for heat deflectors too.
  4. I think a lot of us were cut from the same fabric as Bruce.
  5. There is a perfect spot in the garden just waiting for me to lug them out there. They are not going to see the inside of a KK.
  6. Marc, welcome and what a beauty you have safely landed. Let's see some pixs of your cooks, I know I'm not alone in this.
  7. Or use them in your garden as stepping stones.
  8. Troble, you should be here we've had over 100cm in the last 3 weeks. That white stuff sure freshens things up. Those dark winter days become so much brighter and working out in that cool fresh air feels sooo gooood.
  9. Finally the wait is over and obviously well worth it. Stunning.
  10. Great to hear you, Bruce and that you have lots of lump. You just need to get it into the KK and show us what's your cooking. No time like the present to start that KK, I need some motivation and inspiration.
  11. We had 40 cm of the white stuff. This time it was NOT the light fluffy stuff. This a shot from the blizzard we had 2 weeks ago. This morning the view is sunny and bright.
  12. Tony, winter is always a challenge, we just got over a blizzard, followed a day later by an evening of 80-100 km/hr winds and rain. Tonight is back to the deep freeze.
  13. What a tasty viewing I had this morning thanks to all those delicious cooks that have been posted.
  14. Alimac, I love the look of your cooks, beautiful. I can just bet the 2 girls will benefit from your time tremendously.
  15. Tony, thanks for the thermometer tip. Right after a weather bomb which is supposed to start tomorrow we are going into a double digit negative deep freeze. Brrrrrrrrrr
