  1. If you have some BBQ tongs that you're hating, I have some I can recommend. OXO good grips. I've been using these for 6 years and have never had a problem with them. They lock closed when you're ready to store them and they're super easy to clean. The 12" size is for every day BBQ items and sells for around $13. The 16" is for heavier items or wherever you need a longer reach...bottom grate? They go for around $15. It's one of those unusual combinations of cheap price good product. Amazon has them.
  2. That's a classic meat and potatoes dish if I ever saw one. Being beef ribs, it jacks it up 5 notches. Great looking meal!
  3. Way to go Marilyn, you saved around $21 over the price I paid. All you need now is the rotisserie basket from Dennis and a chunk of animal and you're ready to go!
  4. I'd order it tonight if you're sure you want one. Sale ends tomorrow. And like Tiny said, all you need is the motor.
  5. Congratulations Bosco! I'll bet you're a happy camper. Is it in California or do you have to wait for the slow boat?
  6. Bright, nice, sunny day. Looks like you two had a great time. Hard not to with all that BBQ around.
  7. I'm a pepperoni fan and that one looks delicious!
  8. MacKenzie gave you the link. In the search block on the upper left, type in 4pm05. The 0 is a zero and not the letter O. This will get the correct motor for you.
  9. I don't have my Komodo yet and this was all done on the stove. It's an easy lunch to make so that's why I'm sharing. The main base for it is coconut milk. I won't tell the whole recipe here but here's a few pictures. Peel the shrimp and have them ready to go. They are the last thing in the pot. Then cook it for 10 minutes tops. Here's a view of it ready to serve. It's yellow because of the Turmeric in it. And now plated and ready to eat. It has shrimp, broccoli, mushrooms, fresh snap beans, red curry paste, fresh corn, green onions, coconut milk and turmeric. Total time to make is about 45 minutes tops.
  10. Please keep us informed of the final outcome. I'm sure I can benefit from your experience.
  11. What an outstanding cook!! Everything looks delicious and I'm sure it was. Baby is awake from smelling all that yummy food in the house. Congratulations on a great cook and a wonderful little baby.
  12. The rotisserie motor is on sale for $47.99 with free shipping. Two weeks ago, I paid $59.99 plus $10 shipping for it. Sale ends tomorrow.
  13. I'm a gardener too. Veggies and roses. Your flower is unique to say the least. It looks like a bloom holding a small white spider! I wouldn't mind having a few of those around here.
  14. From the email I received: If there is venting clean the white residue and then close the hole/vent with the supplied grout by cutting a small corner off the bag and then folding it over and taping it closed. Rub a very small amount into the vent area.. it can be cleaned up with water later but clean it up in about 8-12 hours. Pretty much the same thing from the PDF file: There can be bubbling which leaves white residue (this can be removed with 409 or simple green and a white glass scratch proof scrubbing sponge) In the places where it vents it’s best to seal these holes later to prevent moisture from re- entering. Seal the hole/vent with the supplied grout by cutting a small corner off the bag and then folding it over and taping it closed. Rub a very small amount into the vent area — it can be cleaned up with water later but let it dry about 8-12 hours
  15. Don't feel like an outsider, Bosco. You're already "family" here. Keep those pictures coming and the incredible cooks you're doing. Those ribs just HAD to be delicious. Welcome aboard!
  16. You are a pizza master, Mackenzie! The bread looks awesome too. I can't wait to try baking bread on mine.
  17. I usually add ground pork to my burgers. Has just the right fat content for me. Keeps 'em juicy.
  18. I wouldn't know a good joke if it bit me on the
  19. You nailed it MacKenzie, I'd be happy to have them deliver on Saturday...or Sunday for that matter. It's so hot and dry here the fish have dust on them. You catch them already fried. But delivery day?? Rain and more rain. At this point I don't care. I'm ready for it rain or shine.
  20. I've seen those locally. Doesn't look like much meat on them, but I've never scutenized them
  21. Nice try Robert. Ain't gonna happen.
  22. Beautiful baby girl. You should be very proud of that little princess! I anxious to find out how the lamb turns out. But sorry, baby Angie trumps the food porn!
  23. Let's see...refuse shipment of the 21" bronze...apply said refund to 32"...I just can't...but maybe...must. fight. urge. What goodies come with it, Dennis? Rotisserie? Baking stone? I know Meathead is a pro and the type to take care of things, so no worry there.
  24. My Komodo is in Harahan LA right now. This is real close to Robert and about 140 miles from my house. Looks like Monday or Tuesday is the day the stork brings baby home. We haven't had rain in a month and a half and they're predicting it for all next week. What a surprise!
