  1. Just curious was this KK from San Francisco?? My brother lives there and he was eyeing a KK on Let it go. Oh sorry congratulations on the new KK.
  2. Your probably gonna owe your friend a ribeye after he gets out of the emergency room.
  3. Beautiful and congratulations on the new grill.
  4. Congratulations on your 23 KK. What color did u get? Really nice Porsche’s and stereo equipment.
  5. Those ribs look awesome nice smoke ring. Those steaks look great to.
  6. Keep us posted. I would love to try some
  7. Really wanted to try some but they don’t ship to Hawaii.
  8. Thanks I’m debating if I should get another fan assisted temperature controller. I’m waiting for Thermoworks to introduce the fan option for their signals controller/monitor. The Cyber Q has got my interest to
  9. I got a question about the Cyber Q fan. Why is the a slider inside of the fan? I know its suppose to control air flow but isn’t the fan a variable speed fan?? How do u guys use it meaning do u leave it wide open or half way open?
  10. @tony b thanks. I really like brisket in my chili. So with no left overs I’m definitely cooking another brisket very soon.
  11. How do u like your Cyber Q? I’m debating on getting another fan controller type thermometer.
  12. Next time I’ll use more mop and a little less liquid/broth. I was expecting to have left over for chili but there’s nothing left.
  13. Brisket is tasty. The mop made it super tender I had a hard time slicing. The mop gave the brisket a really beefy flavor.
  14. It’s done and it’s probing like butter. I opened up the foil to let the steam out so it doesn’t over cook. It’s re-wrapped and I’m gonna let it rest for an hour
  15. Thanks for slicing tip. The brisket is cooking a lot faster than I expected. I’m normally drunk by the time the brisket is done. Drunk me just cuts away. So I’m sober now hopefully I’ll be sober by the time I cut the brisket. If I’m sober the slicing should be a little nicer.
  16. I’m not great at slicing a brisket but with it being steamed in foil I know will be tender. I’ve read so many good reviews about this brisket mop I had to try it. I’ll keep y’all posted.
  17. It’s wrapped and back on the grill
  18. I’m going to wrap it in foil and pour the mop/liquid inside the foil. I’ll it let finish off and use the residual juices as a sauce.

    Brisket

Cooking my first brisket on my KK. I’m gonna try Kosmo Q brisket mop when I wrap.
  20. I just started cooking with my KK so I’ll let the more seasoned owners chime in. The only advice I can give u is get an alarm to keep an eye on grill temp. My first long low and slow cook my fire died. I’m not sure why but I’m guessing I had to many small pieces of charcoal. I’m cooking a brisket now it’s been on for about 5 hours. So far so good fire is going strong.
  21. Ok I guess I’m leaning more towards the stainless steel. I’ll keep y’all posted.
  22. @SSgt93 u make a good point. I never thought about it from that aspect. I was thinking the stainless steel ones would accent the color of my grill.
  23. I’m clumsy and fear spilling bbq sauce on it.
  24. Thank u. The all wood ones are very nice. It’s good to hear that their not difficult to clean.
