  1. Yup, that's my upper grill shelf. Works very well for holding drip pans or acting as a sear grill. It's actually well made, except for the collapsing issue DJ mentioned.
  2. Suh-WEET! Got my torch from Deej Inc. today. Tightened the fittings, screwed on a gas can, adjusted the spark and BOOM! This thing is scary efficient. Very intense flame, much more than I expected. The coals were going in no time... now my wife won't have any excuse to not get the K going before I get home. Thanks Jasen! Love it!
  3. Welcome! Glad it's working out for you, Krypto. As for lump... I just grab Royal Oak at WalMart. But I'm lazy and easy to please.
  4. Yes I need one, too, Deej. Please send your prototypes and I'll be happy to review them.
  5. Sounds like a plan - think I'll give it a try this weekend.
  6. I had the same trouble at home using Mac Safari, so I don't believe it is "cache" related. And it was only 2 or 3 particular threads that would load forever and then hang, blank. Other threads worked fine. Today at work, all threads are working just fine. Weird.
  7. Yah I noticed the same thing... weird.
  8. Mine went 3hrs at 325-350ish. Not sure what is "normal", and I forgot the size of the bird, but it was something around 14lbs.
  9. Re: My Food It is, undeniably, the BEST!
  10. My Food There it is... woo hoo! Black Eyed Peas, Garlic-Dill Red Potatoes, Green Beans, and of course, the Turkey. Everything came out delectable.
  11. Great Minds I've got a spatchcocked turkey ready to go as well... what a PITA it was, too.
  12. Well...? How did they taste? Pix or it didn't happen.
  13. ooo.... I was going to try to let her down easy... ah well... cat's out of the bag now. Sorry Sanny. See you soon, Trish. What's Dale's seasoning again?
  14. Note to Deej I made the black-eyed peas this afternoon and they were exceptional. That will become a staple here. Thx!
  15. Love it. After you started raving about your pressure cooker I went out to the garage and started digging around and found the one my parents gave me a few years ago-- 22 quarts. It was a beast! It's the old-school kind with the circular "jiggler" that just sits on top. But I gave it a shot with some steel cut oats and 15 minutes later I was having oatmeal that usually takes an hour or more to cook. So I went and bought a little 5-qt pressure cooker to do oatmeal in and it's been working beautifully. I'm glad you brought it up.
  16. I dunno... ...I think your punkin head's been cheating on you. Sneaking off to play with those kids...
  17. Nice! Very nice indeed. My daughter is almost six. I'll send you her measurements.
