Happy Find Well, all this talk about knives made was giving me some knife envy. We've had the same crappy knives for ten years or more. I think we got them at the fair. Or Wal-mart. I really don't recall... but they suck. So I was going to order those Wolfgang Puck knives just to have something slightly useful. Then, lo and behold, at BJ's this evening I found this four-knife Wolfgang Puck set for..... $20. So, even if they're not the world's greatest, they are far, far superior to what I've been working with. They're sharper than Gerard's sarcasm. Color me pleased!

I finally got over to Fresh Market and picked up some Cajun Blackening season that Drunk_J recommended. It was so tasty I had to slather it all over a 4-lb standing rib roast and cook it up last night. It was miraculous. Sweet and tender and oh so juicy. Those are some Sam Adams marinated Brats with it. Not pictured was the butternut squash and sweet potatoes(oven roast) and tomato & mozarella salad.... a real feast last night. In fact, it was so succulent I had steak & eggs this morning for breakfast... Diet? What diet?

That does look kinda tasty.... maybe I could just have a spoonful or two... no harm done.
