  1. A popular place is fruita wood chunks. They have very high quality pieces. Personally I prefer charcoal store.com. They also have good quality, but will ship 5lb boxes, I believe fruita's minimum is 10lbs. Rob
  2. I love my Cyberq, it makes simple even simpler. Rob
  3. Plan B sucks. Use the force. Rob
  4. Ok, that's funny!![emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] Rob
  5. NO ONE can resist the POWER of the DARK SIDE of THE FORCE!! Do not try to resist, it will only cause more agony! Embrace the dark side, and soon you will join the KK Jedi Knights!! Rob
  6. I would have been happy to have been a guide. If you ever have family come this way, IM me. Rob
  7. I'm not sure about this, but I think the new grout adds just a bit more insulation. Don't quote me on that. Rob
  8. You must trust in the power of the dark side!! Rob
  9. A cult?? This is the true dark side!![emoji41][emoji41][emoji41] When I say dark side, I hope everyone knows I'm just having fun, it's meant as no disrespect to anyone, especially Dennis. I think Bosceaux was the first person I started using that phrase with, I can't remember, but if anyone feels that it's inappropriate, please let me know! Rob
  10. Time to turbo the process. Rob
  11. The power of the dark side cannot be denied!! Rob
  12. I'm thinkin a 32", and a 23". This will give all kinds of capacity, plus, the 23" is just a bit smaller for such cooks the 32 isn't necessary. As far as moving, they roll much more easily than you might think, and moving them over mild terrain is easily accomplished using plywood. I moved my 23 across my yard by myself with plywood. A downslope will be no problem with help. I'm not trying to talk you out of 2 32s', I just like the idea of variety, plus, in my opinion, the 23" is the best looking![emoji41][emoji41] Rob
  13. That'll work! Rob
  14. You'll likely have to close the top quite a bit to maintain temp. The initial settings are just to get you there fairly quickly. Rob
  15. That's a pretty complete burn. How are you defining a full basket? The coal should at least go to the top rung of the basket, or more, as long as you're not interfering with the deflector. Lighting in more than one place isn't necessary, about 3/4" bottom, 2 full turns top should get you there pretty quickly. Rob
  16. If you got a lot of smallest, you could certainly blocked airflow enough to keep the temp down. Fuel+airflow=temperature. This could easily be the issue with the time to come to temp. The last bag of RO I used had a good bit of smalls in it, so you might pay attention to what goes into the charcoal basket. Rob
  17. I always take my pork to 205°, so 190°+ is no problem. As long as it pulled easily, that's all that matters. Keep the pics coming!! Rob
  18. We love our cookers for a reason. Make comments like nuprin's on other forums, you'll get laughed at, or something else. The fact is though, to a person, everyone on this forum, and then some, will say the same. KK's cook better, it's that simple. Rob
  19. I have a 23" 19" combo, and I'm very happy with it. The 19" handles very sports car like, I have no trouble using it for quick, just the two of us cooks. I do recommend a second kk whatever size you decide on. Rob
  20. Beautiful!! Program deleted. Rob
  21. As I said in another thread.....the grill has nothing to do with it. [emoji56][emoji56][emoji56] Rob
  22. Remember! The grill has nothing to do with it!![emoji56][emoji56][emoji56] Rob
  23. I've posted this once already, but it seems appropriate. Rob
