I'm a fan of Vernor's ginger soda. It's much more spicy than a traditional ginger ale. More like a ginger beer. I like it. It's been available only in the mid-west, until recently. It's originally a Detroit product, I think. But my local Weggies had it a few weeks ago! Imagine that. YAY!

You are right, of course. The condition on delivery has nothing to do with the quality of the product. Some who see the photos of what the delivery people did will get the wrong impression, and blame the mfg. That wouldn't do. Besides, it would break our hearts to see an injured cooker.

Well, dunno... with all that Big Bob Gibson mojo on it, probably it would go for a premium! Alas, I just spent my "upgrade" funds (which I didn't actually have) on airline tickets to England for me and my mother, this September. I guess it's another year with the other manufacturer's cooker. So far, it's doing ok, so I'm fortunate. Doesn't mean I wouldn't love one of the KKs!! But I can make do.

No no no... not teflon. I like bamboo, or wood needles. They're warm in my hands. The "turbo" needles are good, too (a coated steel), if the yarn isn't too slippery.
