tinyfish Posted December 15, 2015 Report Posted December 15, 2015 I had some short ribs left over so I turned them into burnt ends. I removed the meat from the bones and cubed the meat. I added more rub and bbq sauce. I cooked the ends indirect for a couple of hours Plated with some risotto and french fries. Quote
MacKenzie Posted December 15, 2015 Report Posted December 15, 2015 That sure is a very tasty looking dinner, tinyfish. Quote
tony b Posted December 15, 2015 Report Posted December 15, 2015 Tony, Tony, Tony!!! Nothing beats burnt ends - total meat candy! But, to make them out of beef ribs - insane!! Quote
tinyfish Posted December 15, 2015 Author Report Posted December 15, 2015 Thanks MacKenzie and Tony. I needed another try at a rib dish for the Guru Dec challenge. I was not happy with the short rib cook last night so I thought I would try some burnt ends tonight. Charles entered the awesome looking ribs wrapped in bacon so I'm trying to at least get second place behind him. Quote
GoFrogs91 Posted December 15, 2015 Report Posted December 15, 2015 Brilliant! Bravo! Bravo! Love the idea Benton Quote
CeramicChef Posted December 15, 2015 Report Posted December 15, 2015 Tony - now that's what we're talkin' 'bout! Very nicely done. Kudos, kudos, kudos! Quote
ckreef Posted December 15, 2015 Report Posted December 15, 2015 That was a tasty looking cook for sure. I appreciate the compliment but I'm just try to hold my head above water with you, bosco and DerHusker, not to mention Mrs skreef who now has one more overall point than I do.
