tinyfish Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 What an excellent dinner that was. Is so nice to set it and forget it for six hours and come back to great beef ribs.
MacKenzie Posted February 12, 2016 Author Report Posted February 12, 2016 Thanks, ck and tinyfish. I know it's a riot, not sure I can handle all the work, put it on, come back later, and take it off.
Rak Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 love it! Thats a droolicious plate of beef ribs!
PRippley Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 That's why I love cooking beef ribs MacK!
DennisLinkletter Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 Those look great.. Love beef ribs.. The place that I get my beef from has wagu beef ribs from time to time. Great flavor but because they are soo fatty they can make you feel like you just drank oil after you eat too much. Last time we bought freshly baked half sized croissants, and made lil' sandwiches with wasabi mayo. They were so good, everybody ate too many and we had to delay dinner.
MacKenzie Posted February 12, 2016 Author Report Posted February 12, 2016 Thanks, Rak, PJ and Dennis. My only regret is that I didn't have more beef ribs in the freezer.
tony b Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 Seriously yummy! Love me some beef ribs! Even if it's "hard work."
egmiii Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 Awesome job. Like others have said, beef ribs are quite decadent. I typically serve one per person along side chicken drumsticks to balance things out. I run the ribs for 6 hours, and drop the drumsticks on around hour 5. Most of the potent smoke has subsided by then, which creates the perfect environment for poultry.
MacKenzie Posted February 12, 2016 Author Report Posted February 12, 2016 Thanks, egmiii. Nice pairing you've got going there, egmiii. tony, I'd make the sacrifice and do you some ribs.
