I'm DJM's wife and I'd just like to say that this KK purchase was worth every penny, as he enjoys cooking on it and I enjoy his meals! This week he even stepped up and made up meals ahead on it (see meatloaf that turned out just right) so that weeknights aren't quite as crazy with the kids sports practice schedules! I am always surprised how much I love it each time I make it! And don't be intimidated by the KK. It's a great grill that becomes intuitive very quickly! Just an FYI.. MacKenzie is also of the female persuasion, and with alarming regularity she puts all the men on this forum including myself to shame and knocks cook after cook out of the park. Not just in the breadth and depth of her cooks but her photography is also award winning quality. I call her the Julia Childs of Charcoal cooking!
