Wonder what the now smoked brisket in their refrigerators tasted like?

We do not have a cart for the 22" Table tops. I figure if someone wants a rolling version that size just buy the 23" Ultimate. The stainless carts are so expensive for the 16" and 19" TT grills that we barely get cost out of them.. and we sell very few. I will say for a Table Top Grill the 22" is a beast.. I made the lower bucket 24" from table to lip which is HUGE..

Remember that temperature is airflow if you're too hot reduce the volume of air. Charcoal always burns at the maximum volume for the loud airflow and it's the volume of Charcoal that creates the temperature. When you first light the grill the body will be absorbing a lot of the heat and it will give you a false too low reading, It's very easy to think you need more airflow and then when you give it more airflow you end up overshooting your target temperature. Try opening the chimney spinning the damper top until it's free, then turn it back and until it just touches the gasket and then move it one of those ears only 1.5"

I'm trying to get on a vessel that does contract bulk shipping to New Orleans.. it's a little be sketchy because it won't be in a container.. will have to really well wrap the palettes..

DennisLinkletter replied to DennisLinkletter's topic in Komodo General
Thanks great idea.. Also not a bad idea to add saving the original box so it can be reused in the future should the grill need to be transported.. Even have shipping crates available for special order.. Folks usually know months ahead of a move. -

SLightly Used - 23" Drk Autumn Nebula 4Sale
DennisLinkletter replied to DennisLinkletter's topic in Komodo General
I would prefer this deal first be offered to friends and family of KK Owners and then if it does not move for her, let's turn it loose outside. It should be remembered where the grill is and that it's not crated and so almost needs a FL resident to pick it up. At the very least a blanket service which is not cheap. -
USED 23" Ultimate Dark Autumn Nebula for Sale This grill was shipped March 2014 to Palm City, FL 34990 and appears to be in excellent condition. I've been told it has been used less than 10 times in the past three and a half years. She's asking $3500 for it. Her husband is no longer able to use the grill. Please get back to me for more information or to contact her directly.

CoCo Char and Coffee lump Issues I've had a container of both CoCo and Coffee ready to go since the third week in May. First we got slammed because the ships were all full enough that they were not booking semi-hazardous cargo because of Ramadan. Now the problem is that NYK merged with Mitsui and Mitsui does not book charcoal/semi-hazardous cargo.. Murphy's law.. all the ships scheduled until the end of the year are Mitsui.. Argh and double argh.. Right now I have no way of getting charcoal to the US ;-(

sold out item - what is typical restocking time?
DennisLinkletter replied to JDBBQ's topic in KK Pre-Sales Questions
We ship every 4-5 weeks so accessories show up regularly. As far as the charcoal is concerned, I've had a container of both CoCo and Coffee ready to go since the third week in May. First we got slammed because the ships were all full enough that they were not booking semi-hazardous cargo because of Ramadan. Now the problem is that NYK merged with Mitsui and Mitsui does not book charcoal.. All the ships scheduled in July and Aug are Mitsui.. Argh and double argh.. I'm looking into sending the container to KL and then loading it on a ship that goes from there directly to the US. -
Those fish cages are worth their weight in gold.. nothing worse than fish skin stuck to a grate!

New Member - Question about OTB Supreme
DennisLinkletter replied to kcheves's topic in Komodo General
As I said in my Email.. I'm guessing she thinks the firebox is broken when we shipped it in two pieces. I think you might be able to do better than $1200 because it was $2200 new in 2005.. That was 12 years ago.. only $7 a month depreciation? I have no idea what a firebox would cost because I've never sold one without a grill. I've had fireboxes that were wedged into grills so tightly that when the customer tried to remove them they broke but never on their own without water damage. That must be one of the very first grills we built with the CNC metal.. we called it a Supreme Plus.. but I'm amazed it still has the old 1/4" SS rod front latch.. CNC hinge but not CNC latch? We can update that easily.. Don't worry about the chimney shaft it's 304 stainless and may have some surface discoloration but will be structurally sound. As I said CALL ME! I can get you everything.. -

KK now has a WhatsApp Account
DennisLinkletter replied to DennisLinkletter's topic in KK Announcements
I'm the wrong person to ask because my WhatsApp is an Indonesian number.. that being said, I get 2-3 calls a night on my Komodo Kamado numbers. Interesting is that if I answer Dennis Linkletter Komodo Kamado Indonesia they almost always just hang up.. If they speak to me I tell them I'm a bit busy right now but would like to talk to them and then ask for their home or cell number and I'll call them tonight.. They balk and say they don't give out their personal numbers.. at this point I say EXACTLY and I did not give you my personal number either did I? I then block and report the number as spam to Skype.. ARGH and double ARGH
