I'm no rich guy by any means but I'm not jealous or envious of my neighbors. The problem these days is people feel they are entitled to everything. Its the now time...I want it now, nobody wants to work for what they want. In the short time that I realized I wanted a KK I have been pinching my pennies and cutting back where I could to save a little. I had a good head start on saving but thats what I do. I save then when I see something I want I buy it.

Only someone who has not done his research on a komodo or someone who is jealous. Not everyone will or want a high end Kamado but it's no reason to knock somebody who has made the purchase.

Will be doing a couple small corned beef briskets. I am going to tie them together to get more mass one day and the other day some steaks. The only thing missing is my KK(on order). I might as well get as much use out of my XL BGE because when KK arrives my XL going to feel left out.

Thanks Tony b. I have a good connection for some excellent charcoal from Argentina. It is a very dence hardwood charcoal. That being said, I have heard nothing but good things about the Coco charcoal. I should try some, can't hurt. Since I live in Canada I can't order from Amazon.com so I will only be able to get it direct from Indonesia.

Well I did it, I finally pulled the trigger on a KK 23 in bronze metallic. I am going to take delivery near the end of May. Now the hard part begins....the wait. Now its time to think of a name for my KK. The first name that comes to mind is piggy bank because I had to smash piggy bank for the purchase. LOL I would like to thank everyone that responded to my early threads asking for advice, you are all so helpful, thank you. It will be hard to even come close to CC's excellent photo shoot of welcoming Beauty.

CC great job on those steaks they have a beautiful char to them and room for lots more on Beauty.
