Eggary sorry to disappoint but I don't make charcoal. I am pretty good at buying charcoal though lol. The now named CC smoker pot is for wood chunks for smoking.

If it doesn't work as a smoke pot I'll drill a bunch more holes in the bottom and make a strainer out of it...lol.

The ship will be docking in Vancouver. Even when my KK lands in Canada it's still a long way from Toronto.

Had time to kill so I googled the ship my KK is coming over on and I found it. Turns out there is a website thats gives the ships current location and tracking information. ..cool. Now, if there was only a way to send the captain a message and tell him "full speed ahead".

I picked up what I will now call the CC smoker pot from my local Bass Pro shop. Its the 2 quart size. I will do as Dennis recommends and drill 3 to 4 small holes in the center.

Fingers crossed it turns up. Some say I'm paranoid but the couple of times I have sold something on craigslist I've never let them come to my house. Better safe then sorry especially for a few measly dollars.

Bass pro has a chicken fryer cast iron pan 10 1/4" diameter not sure height.

Cookie you should be able to find a 240v extension cord from your local hardware type of store that would be safe then you can plug into that.

Looks like i found a Lodge Logic cast iron 2 quart serving pot with iron lid. 8" diameter and 2 7/8" high. would this be ok for a KK 23".
