Happy New Year, Everyone!

and to you as well, ZooBeeQ.

Tekobo, a very happy New Year to you. Your cook sounds lovely and I am looking forward to the pixs.

Aussie, the pump is new but apparently everything that could go wrong with the rest of the system did, still waiting.......
-
Aussie and Dee, you make a tasty meal. Look at that juice.

Bruce, we have two wells, one that is too salty for drinking and it is used for the toilet, shower, etc. and the good well for cooking, dishwasher, drinking, watering the plants, and kitchen sink and the bathroom vanity. Today I used bottled water to make 2 loaves of bread, one to give to a friend. My kitchen is a mess. The gift- The keeper- The crumb-

Tekobo, you can use the deflector stones as stepping stones in your allotment. They will be far more useful there. [emoji4]

No water tonight, I'm told tomorrow.

They are still working on it, Dirtman, lugging out far more water than should be necessary to prime the pump, doesn't sound good to me.

Aussie, if I pack the snow real tight it just might make it to your house. We got a fresh batch last night. -
Thanks for asking, Bruce. No, hopefully today.[emoji4]

Bruce did, he asked Dennis to make him one because he had discarded his before realized he wanted one.

That is perfect, Tony.
-
Tony, those are really nasty conditions.

No water molecules were harmed in this meal, chili and cheese on a bun. One with a little colour and one for Tony.

Snow capped burbon sounds pretty tasty to me. [emoji4]I could have one while I watch the bucket of snow melt.[emoji16]

Been there done that one time when our power was out for days. Do you have any idea how much snow you have melt to get a bucket of water? Roughly 10 buckets will do it. Although it depends upon the type of snow. Imagine how happy I am going to be when I see water coming from the kitchen tap. [emoji16][emoji16][emoji16][emoji16][emoji16]

Wowzers, CK, such a fantastic surprise, thanks a million. USPS says mine is in PORT CHARLOTTE, FL I will get updates until it hits the Canadian facility and then I won't hear more until I see it in my mailbox. I expect it will take a couple of weeks.

Thanks, Foothills and Tony. [emoji4] Keep your fingers crossed for a fix tomorrow. Looking forward to you Peking Duck, Tony. I'll keep my fingers crossed for good weather for you. :smt023

I am so glad my skill set doesn't include fixing pumps. We have been out of water in the kitchen and bathroom vanity since right after breakfast. I wouldn't want to be the one out in the freezing cold trying to find the problem with the pump. It is not going to get fixed tonight but hopefully tomorrow. We have water in the shower and toilet from another well but the water from that is not good enough to drink, a little salty. SV time it was, the food is in the bag so doesn't matter if the water is a little too salty on the outside. Fried the potatoes and onions in the toaster oven, had enough good water to do the carrots. Yes, Tony, that is ketchup.:)
