  1. Davey, chicken and veggies, both from the KK, must have tasted wonderful.
  2. BigLazy, a slice of that tasty looking pizza for my breakfast would start my day off perfectly.
  3. Tony, you might have the upper hand right now, best you enjoy it while you can because my KK will be here before too much longer. BTW, I'm glad you gathered up the energy to prepare that stellar meal
  4. Tony, this was pay back for your pizza post
  5. Sous vide at 132F for 5 hours. Dried it off and add a steak rub of your liking by actually putting the rub on a plate and pushing the steak into the rub, trying to give a good coating of rub, then sear. Put a big drop of clarified butter on top of the steak, this is critical to the final flavor- The interior-
  6. Tony, I don't usually tell people about my brothers, eh
  7. Wow, it is gorgeous, and your friends have quite the sense of humour. Didn't get a shot of your wife as she saw "The Tank" for the first time, did you?
  8. Tony, those pizzas look wonderful. I am not sure that I could have restrained myself
  9. Most people take their partners on the honeymoon;) But considering you cook in a 10 inch electric skillet.....
  10. Some vacation, no KK!
  11. I suppose I should explain - it seems that a lot of us Canadians end everything we say with - eh. Great day isn't it, eh?
  12. It is held up waiting for paper work but that is on the way. Not sure if the KK is in Montreal, that is where the paper work went or if it's still in Vancouver. Let's hope the KK is in Montreal which means it's half way across the country. Today is a national holiday, Canada Day so no one is working. Maybe late next week or surely no more than 2 weeks. Thanks for asking:) Happy Canada Day! And one more for a smile:) eh?
  13. dstr, this method will allow you to have wings more often for the same amount of cholesterol and calories, at least that's the theory I'm working on
  14. ck, I would have gladly looked after your KK while you are on vacation That frying pan looks great but we all know it would have tasted so much better on the KK. It must have made your skin crawl to have to use the electric skillet
  15. I never did before either but I wanted the fresh moz to melt onto the pasta.
  16. Another "nothing to do with the grill cook" while I anxiously await the arrival of my KK. Upside down spaghetti, with fresh mozzarella and some chopped tomatoes. Up Close-
  17. Thanks, Tony and I might just take you up on that offer sometime and I'll pay the shipping. It is the least I can do:)
  18. Wilbur, I would have loved to be eating at your table this weekend, everything looks wonderful even with the mishaps things look so tasty and moist. Those pixs are making me hungry
  19. Tony, take a look at this- Amazon.ca - 7 oz PlowBoys YardBird rub- $42.69 plus shipping and tax.
  20. Thanks, Tony, I'll be watching for the cornstarch and baking powder comparison to see if there is a difference.
  21. GM, that was some catch and I imagine your guests were more than impressed with the cook
  22. tinyfish, I want those wings, they look perfect
  23. I just finished my second attempt at Wilbur Wings, mixed up a small batch of baking powder, granulated garlic, pepper and salt, about 50:50 BP and the rest. This time the salt was under control:) Wings on the grill at 400F for 40 mins. Grilling Wings. Just off the grill. Plated with baked potato and kale greens. Dipping sauce was Stonewall Kitchen Pomegranate. Dipping wings-
