I think if you get the KK and just see how it improves the taste of the food over a gas grill you won't want a gas grill after that experience. I've had both. The KK takes the taste of whatever you cook to the next level. Once you get your KK to a set temp. it is going to hold that temperature for the entire cook. When done with the cook just shut the vents, the fire will go out and you'll have lump that you just need to top up for the next cook.

I love them too, and these carrots were just out of the garden, maybe by an hour. They were so sweet.

It was pitch dark out when I started this cook as a result I used my phone for the pixs. Bone in skin on chicken thighs with roasted carrots fresh out of the garden. Grilled. Plated with some of the summer's pickled peppers.

I'm not sure you have enough to last for final count.

Wow, relatively easy move and just look at all those goodies on top of the KK. Nice KOMODO KAMADO sign too. Some of us put the sign in our ODKs. The pork tenderloins look perfectly cooked.

Gorgeous, don't tell me you only took 2 pixs of the arrival. I was looking forward to many many more.

tekobo, those are jumbo steaks and they do have a nice char on them. Enjoyed by all, I'm sure.

Chorizo, Za'atar onions, cabbage and carrots, smashed potatoes and pickled green tomatoes. Love those caramelized sweet onions with Za'atar.

I pickled some of mine, they do make crispy pickles.

Grilled some chorizo and plated it with Mac & Cheese and a spinach side salad. Running out of this summer's tomatoes. Plated. Silk Chili and Zanzibar Black Pepper on the Mac and Cheese. Side salad.

Cleaned the leftovers out of the fridge today. Still tasty. Za'atar sweet onions, steamed cabbage and carrots, smashed potatoes and beef roast from a previous KK cook and then there are those pickled hot peppers.
