  1. https://minimalistbaker.com/roasted-butternut-squash-soup/ Made this soup today for the first time but not the last. I did substitute chicken broth for the veggie broth that I didn't have on hand. Veggies ready to roast. Soup is done and ready to blend in the Vitamix. Ready to serve, except it is not for dinner today. Having burnt ends, spaetzle, carmelized onions and cooked squash passed thru the spaetzla maker.
  2. Let me see which would I prefer, a loaded Troble pizza or Aussie's plated beef ribs with salads? That's easy, I'll have both please.
  3. @ Troble, Aiussie, Alimac and Basher, what a wonderful batch of fantastic cooks, everything looks perfectly delicioius.
  4. Made some spätzle today and served it with pork burger, squash and mushroom gravy. Still steaming, just out of the water bath.
  5. We will be looking forward to Ms S's cook.
  6. I cook my sausages on the KK but I just never cook hotdogs, for some strange reason they don't agree with me. ????
  7. Had some lean ground pork so decided to make pork cheese burgers for dinner. Pickled peppers from this summer's garden. Caramelized sweet onion on burger. Plated.
  8. Personally I'd only do hamburgers and chicken drumsticks on the KK because they will taste sooo much better. Save the gazzer for hotdogs.
  9. Adam, those ribs look delicious, makes me want to some on the KK.
  10. Wonderful looking dinner, Tony. I love a hoppy beer.
  11. I totally agree with you Jon about caregivers, they are amazing and so are you and your sister. Your mother is a lucky to have you both.
  12. Tony, tasty looking dinner and thanks for that garlic bread tip.
  13. @ KKash, thanks. I think I'll do this again. @Braai-Q, burgers look fantastic, skip the machine, if you press them too tight they won't taste nearly as good.
  14. I think if you get the KK and just see how it improves the taste of the food over a gas grill you won't want a gas grill after that experience. I've had both. The KK takes the taste of whatever you cook to the next level. Once you get your KK to a set temp. it is going to hold that temperature for the entire cook. When done with the cook just shut the vents, the fire will go out and you'll have lump that you just need to top up for the next cook.
  15. Boom Boom, you have a very thoughtful neighbour.
  16. I love them too, and these carrots were just out of the garden, maybe by an hour. They were so sweet.
  17. It was pitch dark out when I started this cook as a result I used my phone for the pixs. Bone in skin on chicken thighs with roasted carrots fresh out of the garden. Grilled. Plated with some of the summer's pickled peppers.
  18. I'm not sure you have enough to last for final count.
  19. Wow, relatively easy move and just look at all those goodies on top of the KK. Nice KOMODO KAMADO sign too. Some of us put the sign in our ODKs. The pork tenderloins look perfectly cooked.
  20. Gorgeous, don't tell me you only took 2 pixs of the arrival. I was looking forward to many many more.
