  1. ckreef it is getting closer buddy!!! I expect an announcement this week!!
  2. great video Dennis!! Have these new brackets started shipping?? I am curious to know if my grills will have this or the older system? If I didn't see this video, I would have had 100 questions on how to get this going!!! And of course my favorite part of the video is you're chuckle with the bird size comment!! I have heard that laugh when we chatted on the phone when I ordered.
  3. everything looks really good!! It sucks that I get to spend today working....
  4. I have really evolved into a less is more type cooker. I do not brine, inject etc..... I like to try and keep it as simple as I can and not overthink the cook. It has served me well so far. At the end of a pork butt, once I shred it, I bring to a boil a 1/4 cup of cider vinegar, 1/4 cup apple juice and 2 tbsp. of brown sugar. Once at a boil, I pour it onto my shredded pork. This has become my go to for pork butts
  5. you will have same day shipping lol!!!!!
  6. I am not sure of where the feeder ship stops Dennis before Hong Kong. This boat goes to Hong Kong based on my packing slip, but could make multiple stops during its 10 day journey to Hong Kong. After talking with Tiny Fish, his first KK shipped from Singapore and the second from Hong Kong. I googled pacific shipping routes and the big 2 to Canada is the NP1 and NP2 route. NP1 starts: Singapore SGSIN Laem Chabang Da Chan Bay Hong Kong Yantian Vancouver Tacoma (WA) Seattle (WA) Pusan Kaohsiung Singapore The NP2 starts Hong Kong Yantian Kaohsiung Shanghai Pusan Tacoma (WA) Seattle Vancouver Yokohama Pusan Kwangyang Hong Kong Im not sure what the second boat will be but found all NP1 and NP2 ships for the month of October. based on this information and my packing slip, I am shipping to Hong Kong first boat. The NP1 starts from Singapore which makes sense based on what you said. Tinyfishes last ship was the same route as my order. Indonesia to Hong Kong, then on the NP1 route one stop then to Vancouver. If my research is correct I will ship on either October 28th via OOCL Asia or November 4th via Zim Rotterdam (both are NP1 routes) Arrival at Port of Vancouver will be either November 13th or November 20th and then transported across country to Toronto Google is a powerful tool!!!!
  7. I have some info and thought that it would be fun to share with those that are interested. I am fascinated with this process. I find it incredible that my delivery will be touching through so many countries, covering so much distance and going through so many hands to get here on time. I received my shipping information early this morning. My KKs left the factory on October 1st, however, missed the feeder ship by two days. So it has been waiting to go from what I can see from the shipping information. This delivery will be by two container ships. Leg #1 Vessel: ITHA BHUM Departing Surabaya Indonesia October 13th 2015 to Hong Kong October 23rd 2015 After a live track of the boat, it is scheduled to arrive at Pork Klang Surabaya Indonesia around 2pm my time today. My KKs will be loaded and ready for departure tomorrow!!
  8. Great..... I'm getting nervous about you're pick now lol!!! Can't wait to see what you go with

  11. That looks good enough for a 19" KK now!!!
  12. You know I may add the teak cabinet up top on my porch. It won't connect to my current set up because I want the 16 on the porch. This could be a really nice setup on its own

    Cha Siu Bao

This looks great ckreef I think you are safe with a panzarotti tiny
  14. Me either!! I would love to add a teak stand but that will put me well over 12'. I currently keep my joe Jr on the porch and like having it therefore quick cooks and rainy day cooks
  15. Won't have enough room to add a teak stand so I will be getting the stainless stand with teak shelf I think. But I want that on my enclosed porch for quick weeknight cooks. The 23 and 32 will be on the lower patio eventually under a gazebo.
  16. Yup very exciting!!! The yard is looking clean !!
  17. This is what makes KK and Dennis a special company. I told Dennis what I wanted and he shipped it out. Today he sends me some pics of my table and side tables and look what I get.... Dennis is a genius. constantly evolving with his design. I can not wait to get this stuff!!! I now have an indestructible table top surface to work on!!! Who wants these side tables now?????

    Back to it

We cook healthy on the grill most nights. I like to treat myself with what I call a bad cut once a month or so. Be it a pork butt, ribs, etc. Most nights is chicken and fish, and few crazy dishes too

    Back to it

well like most days when I am in between night shift, I cant seem to get more than 3 hours sleep. So I was up early. Got the jr. up to 350 and rocked five chicken breasts. Hit them with lemon pepper. Costco has a santafe ranch salad and I love it. Brought that for dinner tonight. Felt good, just need to keep it up so that I break the bad habbit
