  1. it is just lamb. No bacon. You spin them by sliding the tongs along them to rotate them. Very delicious
  2. that's how I do pork, I have yet to add mustard to a brisket. Maybe I will give this a shot next time
  3. Beautiful looking good and dessert!!! You are an amazing little cook Mackenzie. So impressed!!
  4. Wilbur he only has room for one stand up and two table top style grills. He has a permanent structure made for his outdoor kitchen. One last thing bob. Remember this is not a round grill. It is really 32x22 so more oval. Dennis showed me some pics and although larger than standard kamados it really is comparable to any ha grill.
  5. Welcome to the forum finally. We have had many good chats recently and I think that you are going to love you're decision to go with KK. I have seen you're setup and it is prett awesome. As per our earlier conversation you have room for one stand up and two potential table top models. So here is my thought. You initially told me that you love the beast. Get the beast!!! I have seen you're cooks and know that you will until is the heck out of it. Order the 19" and add it to you're outdoor kitchen setup and put the Jr on the other end for now. One thing that I really think that you will appreciate with the KK is that less is more. You have twice the cooking room in one cooker as you do on the big joe. You can eliminate a grill or two and not give up the realestate for cooking with the 19/32 combo. Maybe down the road you can add a griddle to where the Jr sat. I am bias and think that the 23/32 is a great combo but also am aware that it will not fit in you're current setup as you don't have the room. I truly feel that the 19/32 is going to be you're dream setup. Call Dennis ASAP and start making plans. The good news is that both the 19 and 32 are in stock in California so there will be no delay. Now you just need to start thinking accessories. If you get the rotisserie for the 32 I'll link you the motor to buy. Congrats again buddy you will be so happy with this purchase. Everyone here always says the only regret that you will ever have is not buying sooner!!! Call Dennis!!
  6. I will be close to one of the last for 2015 is my guess I'm looking at a mid to late November
  7. Get Dennis to build you one for the 23" red stick then the other side the lower shelf for the 19". That would be a really slick one piece unit!!
  8. I never had a boiled hot dog until a few years ago.... Grilled dogs are good but man I love boiled hot dogs

  10. That would be really nice pebble CC
  11. Another week down. Shipping info has been provided for the export slip so I know that we are getting closer each day. I have my fingers and toes crossed that they will be done by next week!!
  12. Hogsfan, I almost bought that colour. I really like the dark blue. It looks very classy but bold enough to make a statement. If my heart wasn't so set on pebbles.... I think that I would have purchased that one
  13. great link!! Lots of things I do regularly. I will try spiralling the hot dogs next time.... but in all honesty nothing beats a boiled hot dog!! I employ the packing the patty lightly leaving the meat loose. That is a huge one for my burgers And I also self grind. I have never done smash burgers but I do have a cool smash burger press to try

I got it to work. I use a service locally that changes my IP address to an American IP. I get more internet that way. My DNS settings were out of whack that skillet is really close. Mine is just enamel coated. I can't wait to use it again

My boys hockey seasons have begun.... not allowing me to get many cooks in. So after about a week or two, I finally had some time. We have hockey tonight, so I wanted to cook early enough and be able to clean up before my older sons hockey game tonight. Anyways...... Last week my local hardware store Canadian Tire had cast on clearance. I purchased three sizes of enamel dutch ovens. I found this gem the other day in another aisle also on clearance. It is a 14" pizza stone. I only plan on using it as a skillet of sorts, for fajitas, making corn tortilla shells, etc. Not for pizza. Here are my usual suspects... keeping it simple. Todays cook was marinated in John Henry's cilantro and lime and cilantro fajita. Great mix of rubs. Diced up three chicken breasts to start, and cut up some fresh veggies. Preheated the grill to 375 and placed the skillet on the grill. Wiped it with some EVOO and let it get hot. The skillet was up to temp in no time at all. Added the chicken and cooked that. Then slowly added all of the other ingredients. Finished the cook off with some fresh cilantro. and just a quick and simple early lunch lol!! I am so very impressed with this lagostina cast skillet. Really cool !!!!
  19. Man that looks good right about now
  20. I have added two to my purchase. I have toyed with not getting them but I think I can justify the expense with messy cooks it will be great. And turkey gravy will be lights out this year!!
  21. When you are not the norm it invites attacks. You can't rip on customer service, the owner, the quality and loyalty so it leaves it open for mindless banter. I am choosing to keep going and can't wait to get word of the babies on their long journey to the crazy Canucks house!!
