no it dont come in hi cap and like was said not yet .. i have a 23 and while the hi cap is nice i dont find any need for it for me anyway the 23 certainly fills all my needs ... i know you will be happy what ever you choose but you cant go wrong with going bigger good luck on you choice

I just measued my stone the problem you are going to have with the upper grate is it curves in and the welded handles in the front will allow it but the back where it curves in wont i have 15 1/2 side to side but 17 is the dept If you had a 14 by 16 would work perfect You could call or email baking steel they do custom work

Is that 16 inch deep or is the 16 inch width of the steel

Sorry cc i would have to disagree as well baking steel is far better if you want that crispier crust plus you can use lower temp to get the steel to 700 plus degrees that is why Dennis tried to roll out the kk baking steel to us but ran into issues with supplier

That is not true i have over 400,000 members on many of my forums and dont have half of what is going on at guru i have over 2000 or more members joining each day but our admin and staff leave their emotions at the door is why i dont have what the guru has going over there i also have a set of rules that each member abides but very much of what we got going on here at the kk forum is what i have in my forums ... when you strive for a family environment it works wonders for a forum no matter what forum you have .. when you have a set of rules and change them according to how you feel each day that is very bad probaby why as many new members come through the door they leave just as fast not all new members post ... i admire you for being staff there and is your prerogative and i assume your experience there is much different than many of us

I find no difference at all cooking in winter on my kk as when i had my bge i cook all winter long in frigid temps and snow ect and i have no issues at all the difference is the kk is way more efficient so cold is a no factor..i too have no issues with moisture ect...i do recommend a cover the reason i got one cause of my extreme temp changes in the weather

Yes the owner has no clue how to run a forum he has rules that are posted but makes them up as he goes along you really cant take sides if you are admin but like was said he worships at the kj alter and if you dont own one he looks down on you.i logged out more then a month ago and dont miss the drama...if certain things were gone there then it would be a good site

@jarraa First off welcome to the KK family and congrats on your purchase . I have a cobalt blue 23 the only time that you will find it will scratch is in cleaning /washing it you have to use soft clothes or sponges(just remember soft and you will be good ) if you use something abrasive yes it will scratch its like any tile when it comes to that so that is what you have to watch for other then that it is a stunning color and i never worry on scratching it .. something to keep in mind if you did damage a few tiles or so due to scratches or damage you can easily replace them and as you know Dennis is there for you every step of the way he also sends you extra tiles when you get your kk i have yet to even use them if ever... have a look at that link above that steve m posted

Welcome to the kk family a great color you picked out .. you are going to absolutely love cooking on it ..on the sunbrella cover i would get one now not that the rain will hurt it but protecting your investment is the way i look at it .. after every cook or when not in use and when its cool enough to put on the cover goes on anyway that is just how i do it
