Wow Tucker, gorgeous bark and juiciness on those briskets.

Good luck to all my mates in the states

If I win, I will fly you over for your rib cookin' lessons. -
Ribs are looking good Aussie.

I can't believe it cooled down enough to get that much snow on it. Were you sick or something?
-
Bet he thought he hit the jackpot.

That's really fast. My last wagyu brisket took about 18 hours at 225. Pre-trimming, it was about 15.4 lbs.

So which one of you was traveling through Atlanta Hartsfield airport? Please leave a description of your cooking method

Dang, that's a shame. I guess that falls under the "life's too short to eat meatless ribs" category. I applaud your decision making process.

Looks delicious MacKenzie

Dizzy pig and east carolina vinegar sauce are my favorite combo for pulled pork. Looks great!
-
Thanks MacKenzie, I think it will take the edge off on just about any of the weather we get here. Plus I will finally have a sheltered spot out of the rain (if I can get the island finished lol).

Cooked up some porterhouse pork chops using a reverse sear tonight on the kk. Served with some noodles and fried apples. Got to fire up the infra red heaters -one of my favorite new things in the ODK. Ok, it wasn't that cold but I am in shorts and a t-shirt so it really knocked the chill out of the air. Should help when things turn really cold.

Looks lovely @MacKenzie

That's ok CT Cooking, we are probably more patient than we seem. You'll be cooking before you know it. -
That is going to be some tasty bacon. It is on my short list to do another slab soon.

We are pretty excited. I was hoping to have it finished up in August but it went nearly twice as long as expected. The kitchen island is the last phase; just in time for winter.
-
Thanks Tekobo. I'll post some better pics as things progress.
-
Me too!

Pretty slow day on the everyday cooking thread. How about some rib pics from the weekend? And this next one isn't technically "everyday cooking" but it happens often enough. Some pretty exciting things are happening around the SteveM household too. New home for the kk

I'll say. Those look incredible.

That was. going to be my first guess.
