  1. One of those doesn't match. I wonder if anything could be done? The new kk looks awesome!
  2. Nice job all around. The tile is beautiful on that kk.
  3. Agreed, at least some kind of deal going on there
  4. Looks good Mackenzie. It probably wasn't an accident that a smokehouse opened near you. I wish I could get that kind of respect.
  5. Quick! Paint the new kk green! They will praise you for your thriftiness. Tritips are right there at the top for me. I'm sure it was tasty despite the lack of any credible evidence.
  6. The new kk looks great! I kept my KK sign too. It will be mounted soon on the ODK.
  7. You want the grill to be ventilated to some extent so condensation doesn't become an issue with swinging temps. It can become waterlogged over extended periods if things are tightened down too much. Don't ask me how I know.
  8. Tough choosing between the road kill and beers so I'll just go with both. Nice spreads!
  9. The steaks look great and that sauce looks fantastic. Nice plated shot!
  10. I have a chef's choice model 610. I think they are all sort of a pain to clean so I only pull it out when I want some really thin sliced stuff like roast beef or smoked turkey breast. I don't think they make it anymore but it seems to be a decent quality.
  11. Looks excellent! Nice to find something that works as intended.
  12. looks good Aussie. IPA is good on everything!
  13. Anything stand out for D'Artagnan? Lots of good spices in that list. I've tried about half of them. We have a trader joe's but I haven't been there in a while. I will have to check it out.
  14. I'm curious where others are buying meat, spices, etc. online. I have been a Snake River Farms junkie for a while and rarely disappointed in their offerings, especially the beef. Recently, I started purchasing from Porter Road and have been impressed with everything I have tried: Porterhouse cut pork chops, Beef round roast (my recent roast beast sandwiches), and this weekend, a remarkable tritip at about a third of wagyu cost from SRF. I also loaded up the freezer with a few other cuts. What say you?
  15. Looks awesome. No forks to keep it from spinning?
  16. 1. I barely open the top at all for low temps. Probably 1/8th turn; maybe less. If the fan is running at 0%, it is open too much. 2. I think mine is getting a bit loose but hasn't caused issues. 3. I don't run the probe through the hole; I run the plug end through from the inside. 4. I only use foil on the lower grate at this point. I used to use the diffuser but don't anymore.
  17. Wow, this dish looks incredible. I would like to try this one.
  18. Those look like a pretty decent deal. I like that these have silicone. I have a couple of pair of heat resistant gloves but if they ever get wet, they become instant conductors of heat. or so I've been told.
